Noivern

Noivern here. I don't really chat all that often, or hack that much anymore, or update my forum games... but I do judge levels! I tend to point out specific problems with levels and ways they could be improved more than abstract concepts like level flow, but that doesn't mean I ignore them. Here's to hoping this VLDC is the biggest and greatest incarnation yet!
Frost

Hello I'm Frost. Over the years, I've submitted the same level three times to VLDC. So this year I decided to be a judge instead. To make this bio short, here's my design rhetoric. Every category is important so to impress me, shine in all three. Levels should have clear ideas with polished execution and difficulty.
Koopster
Hey, I'm Koopster. Most of you probably know me and also my judging style from VLDC9, but I hope to do better this year, because looking back I know I have been sloppy in many places. It was a learning experience, I suppose!
I dig levels that aren't afraid to do something new, to innovate, to go as crazy as it takes to make it fun to play. So if you want a nice score from me, make sure to make it fun! Don't forget the wax for some good polish, too. I hope we get the general level quality that the 10th incarnation of this contest deserves.

lolyoshi

Hi, I'm lolyoshi. A "place things on editor" romhacker and problem user. I have a passion for designing levels. So when I'm judging, I firmly inspect the entry for gameplay flaws or other little things that may surprisingly change the experience badly, hence I will likely be a harsh judge. Other than that, I expect something that plays well, that may innovate, and isn't afraid to take risks. Honestly, I just hope your entry will be fun, creative, and overall surprising.
Make this VLDC not bad.

Deputy BS

Hello, I'm Deputy BS, aka Derpy Backslide, aka Derpy, aka Doopy Buckride, aka Zaxxon, aka crobat231985. My judging style is fair but tough. I look for strong level design, creative themes and a nice aesthetic style. I type a lot to make sure that my thoughts are clear so that you know what to improve in the future. I don't expect to hand out any perfect scores but I am looking forward to what the community brings out for the 10th anniversary of VLDC.
Torchkas

I'm Torchkas. Although I generally do music, I've become fairly skilled in criticizing things over the years. I managed to be a judge for CLDC, so someone decided to make me a judge for VLDC as well. I said sure. I think I have a keen eye for design. I tend to be more interested in a fair challenge than in something gimmick oriented. Aesthetic flow is a very important point for me as well. Cluttered visual design will lose you points. Creativity probably speaks on its own. Be sure to impress me.
