This seems like a bit of a taboo topic, but I can't help but ask—is it possible to edit this gimmicky stage in some way? I'd like to incorporate the timer-based mechanic into a level. Opening the layer 1 data of the unique sub-levels via their address is easy enough, but saving that in a usable manner seems impossible to a noob like me. Any help is appreciated.
I don't think there's any way to make it work using just Lunar Magic (in case you're asking for the VLDC, for instance). You could change the pointers or code with a hex editor if you need to, but the easiest way to do it would be to simulate it with UberASM, a block, or a sprite (depending on how you're doing your level transitions). I even have code for it already if you need it.
