I've already submitted the level, but I figured I might as well make a thread about it to get feedback. I could always update the submission after all.

This level revolves around Koopas and their shells. Some of these shells are actually part of the scenery, where they act either as solid blocks or, if half-buried, level decoration.

This level takes advantage of some of the different ways in which shell-less Koopas interact with shells. This Koopa may be green now, but once he climbs into that red shell, he'll turn red and act like a red Koopa.

Kickers are probably the toughest obstacle in the level.

I could let the Koopa get that shell out of the way, but I should probably just shoot it since I'm Fiery.

This is so nice! I think I like it better than your vldc9 level, the gimmick is very creative. The only thing I would say is, the design seems a little simple, and it's very short and easy. It could be made a little longer, and maybe a tad more difficult at the very end. One thing you could use is the disco shell, since you are using all the properties of koopas after all. Maybe a short bit with a disco shells at the end would add sone length and difficulty?

Also, the dragon coins are very easy to get, but that isn't a bad thing, and it's typical of your levels.

The aesthetics look really great, simple yet really amazing looking.
It's a bit strange to use the koopa shells as actual terrain, but it works fine, I like the idea

Maybe you should increase a bit the lenght or the difficult of the level
Personally I think the solid and decorative Koopa shells are going to make parts of the level confusing as hell. Since tile merging is allowed, maybe you could put them inside e.g. glass blocks?

Otherwise, looks neato. I'm digging the colors.
I think the player is supposed to pay attention to what the shells look like, since the shells that are part of decoration look like they were frozen while spinning? While the ones that are enterable are normal.

I would have preferred to see more creative obstacles with Yoshi and different colored shells, or using the special world shell to create jumping parakoopas. But alas, level design styles...
