I should have something witty to put here (even if it's just to update dated info), shouldn't I?

What does this hack in here is this particular instance. Once you exit the second bonus room in the third level, the FG position is set too high and makes completing the level next to impossible. You can make some progress, but you won't get far. Fix this and you should be fine.

Personally I'm not a fan of these newer physics as it makes controlling Mario more difficult than it needs to be, this is accentuated by Mario's very sudden acceleration while in the air.

Smaller things for you to take into consideration:

- Textless message box.

- Glitched squished Galoomba (SMW Goombas) graphics.

- Miscolored pipes, ledges, and trees.
- Venus Fire Trap/Fire Piranha Plant needs to have its initial setting actually inside the pipe. (two tiles down in this case)

Suggestion: Give Poison Mushrooms their actual graphics and not just use the Super Mushroom's.

The donut blocks are teleport blocks, which makes it impossible to beat the fourth level. I think you mixed up your custom blocks.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

With this, I think it's safe to say that I'm a fan of your works. Really liked the idea of this one.

There's one big issue this hack has. Look the gif below:

Passing on donut blocks once, turns them into teleport blocks... and since no exit was set (because this wasn't supposed to happen in the first place), touching it teleports you to the endless bonus game, making you stuck forever.

Other smaller issues I advice you to fix a bit so that your hack quality could increase:
- Some palettes could be much better: examples of not-so-good palettes are these pipes, this background, this one's BG as well (the yellowy hill bends with the bg colors). Polishing them a bit won't hurt.
- I often meet a question block that simply acts like a cement block. More blocks issues?
- Not forced, but I'd advice you to use midway points in your hack. It's kinda annoying having to redo the whole level if you die.
- The water level it's pretty flat. It's probably the level with the worst design; the main thing is probably the excessive length: the level itself does nothing much in terms of sections, most of the times all you have to do is to avoid fishes, so there's really no point in making it extremly long. That's why I'd suggest you to atleast reduce its length a bit... so that it'd be less boring to go trough. Maybe you could also alter Mario's physics in water: I do recall that in SMB1 Mario can swim forward faster.

That's all pretty much. Fix the main issue pointed out in the .gif, extra points if you also fix the minor issues, make sure to test your hack (or hire testers) before submitting again, and I'll accept it.

This is version 1.0
There will be a 1.1

I was happy to see this finished. Sadly, I had to interrupt my moderation since there's a major issue that makes the hack instantly rejected.

Going in this pipe...

... makes me go in here, but when I get out of it...

... I get to the endless bonus game.

Sadly, this is a major issue, and alone, the reject reason.

Together with this, I also found these smaller issues:
- The very first level has a teleport block that teleports you to the "THE END" screen of the hack. Why was this needed?
- I'm forced to die here, since I can't jump up to those blocks, nor I can't go back due to the smb1 style of screen scrolling.

Please, have some testers to test your hack before you submit it again, thank you.
