I've had the idea of having the spinjump converted into a powerup (as in, you can't spinjump without it) since I've always seen the spinjump as being overpowered, as you can do it on 90% of SMW's sprites that would harm you otherwise.

From what Medic told me over IRC a few months back, this (supposedly) wouldn't be to hard to do, with the appropriate ASM knowledge.

I was actually thinking of making a three exit joke hack where I try to recreate Undertale bosses (Napstablook, Papyrus, and of course, Sans).

Wait... now that I've said it, someone is probably gonna use my idea. Oh well, I'll probably make a Sans fight anyway.

If I ever make my own SMW Sans fight inspired segment, it'll probably be in a standalone one-level hack. I don't think I'd have any reason to put one in a multi-level hack. Also, the fact that it would be a Sans fight and using Megalovania will likely be the only things they have in common.

I have a idea....a New Super Mario bros. U remake. It can include all of the worlds,4 players (on screen), 5 playable characters (Mario,Luigi,B. Toad, Y. Toad,and Nabbit),and use of SMB3 + Custom Graphics. All new asm too.

I like how that last post I made started an entire debate about the fight with Sans. At the moment, though, I'm working on a SMB style hack.
I wonder if anyone's ever tried to make a visual novel SMW hack, or if it would even work very well.

Wait, how about a Gaster fight in SMW? Glitched graphics could actually fit in for it.

On the other hand, I'll post a video showing what each tile set specific does in each tile set. Some make sprites float and others work like a oneway block downwards.

I'd like to see the Mettaton battles (normal, EX and a custom serious NEO battle)

An inflated (P balloon) Mario sprite could replace the soul

Remaking danmaku shmup bosses (DoDonPachi, Touhou, Battle Garegga etc) would be neat too

Well, I could just use YYCHR to make some Wing Dings text for the battles. This fight could be chosen opposite to another battle with Uboa, maybe. In the final boss, they'd merge, if I decide that I'm not too lazy to do that.

Anyway, I could also hide bonus mini games in each world where (I'd use SMW Customizer to make the Splitting Chucks make more Splitting Chucks) you would go against an endless onslaught of Chucks in varying locations, getting as many points as you can. You automatically get a 1up every time you enter the level, since you can't beat it, and would in turn take the 1up back.

I'd would help me out a ton if someone could port over Dark Yet Darker for my hack.
Don't remember if I posted this particular thing before but one could make a SMW version of Block Dude (with added features) by using the sprites on platforms patch, SA-1, and modify Mario's jump height so that he can't jump more than 1 tile high.

Would it require Mario to go back and forth thru the same door, turning off the light switch every time? IDK what I think about the fight itself since I've no idea how it would work or anything about it, really.

I wonder if it would be possible to make an actual looping maze puzzle in levels with the ratchet scrolling generator (not just settling on using warp blocks on each wrong choice).
