And to be honest, GOTHCLAWS, it seems like this is the first hack you've ever made. All the things that you think are cool, are actually making me want to play your game less and less. I've seen your title screen. You can't honestly say that's possible without slowdown and savestates.
I would imagine screen scrolling teleport blocks wouldnt be that hard to get based on the existing screen scrolling doors... Then again, I've imagined some pretty crazy shit so I could very easily be wrong.

Well, there's a hitbox patch in the patch area.
But this isn't a project I'm going to work on now, maybe not ever.

Not sure how doable this is, but it certainly constitutes an awesome hacking idea... in my opinion anyways...
GFX02 has a couple of unused tiles in it... certainly enough for two frames of a 16x16 sprite... What would be an awesome hacking idea is if someone made a patch that changed the way the spiny works to act more like it did in SMB3... Tail/Cape flips him into his shell, cant be stomped when the shell has been kicked, but can be stopped with Tail/Cape. Can be carried safely. I realize theres a custom sprite that does this already, but a patch would eat up one less spot on the custom sprite list as well as make the Lakitus actually throw the SMB3 stlye spiny.
(the two frames I was hinting at are the spiny's shell if you missed that =P)

i saw a lot of hacks that say "RPG" by just having free OW walk, and a life bar, but i got an idea that could be very nice for a true RPG mario hack:
every enemie drops differents amounts of EXP and Coins, by hitting it you get out one amount of damage, the enemie has also HP, as you kill enemies, you raise a level bar, that increases the amount of damage deal on enemies, reduces the damage taken from enemies, maximum Hp, and MP(for fireflower power for exemple) you know, the usual RPG stuff.
Exemple:
a koopa tropa has 20 hp, when his hp reaches to 0 him are kicked out from his shell, now his life are 5, but when you hit one enemie with a shell you doubles the damage.
also if possible, make a enemie life bar on the status bar, that shows the enemie you currently attacking, and everytime you hit an enemie appears the hit points that you get out from your enemie.
i think it´s really hard to make, but i think that it is a pretty good idea.
