Koopster You've been around the site for almost a year now, and I think a lot of people already noticed you for how all around helpful you've been since you joined! Koopster So, for a first question - what got you into SMW hacking, and what got you to join SMW Central? TheBiob What got me into smw hacking was mainly youtube. I somehow stumbled across an smw hack, found it interesting and eventually started making my own hacks TheBiob I found out about smwcentral relatively soon after that however I never really saw a reason to register. I used smwc mainly for getting resources/information back then TheBiob What got me to join in the end was a tool that I felt like sharing so I ended up registering here and uploading it. Koopster I see. I guess most people go through that phase of using SMWC for resources without registering Koopster But you registered a year ago, and you're still around! So what was it that made you stay until now? TheBiob That's a good question... I don't know. I never really intended to stay here honestly. I remember that I thought I'd just upload the tool and that'd be it but then I ended up posting in the forums and staying here anyway TheBiob In the end I'm really glad to have stayed here though. It's a cool community and I'm glad to be a part of it. Koopster That's nice of you! Pretty sure we are glad to have you as well.
Koopster So one thing you do a lot is help people out especially with coding stuff - you actually even helped me with an issue I was having not so long ago, and you were pretty quick and in point with it, too. Needless to say, you're pretty good with ASM, and you make a lot of cool resources and fulfill a lot of requests. Koopster What got you into ASM? Did SMW hacking get you into coding, and/or do you happen to have some interest in that area outside of hacking as well? TheBiob I started learning asm because I saw a lot of things you can do with it. I can't really remember what exactly got me to learn it but back then I was already amazed at something like a teleport block so probably something like that TheBiob As for coding/programming itself I already had interest/made stuff before I even knew that smw is a game that existed lol Koopster Ah, I see. You really can do a lot with ASM. I def can see why someone with hacking and programming interest would pick it up right away!
Koopster A little bit ago you spoke a little about SMW Central's community. You said it's cool, but do you have any little quirks with it? Would you change something about the community if you could? TheBiob I never had any real issues with the community so for now I'd personally leave it like it is. TheBiob The only thing that kinda annoyed me once was after the ASM request thread was made and I did a few request some people pm'd me requests instead of posting in the thread but that pretty much stopped. Koopster I suppose that's a good answer to get

Nice to see people being chosen MoTM for the help they provide to others, instead of being a contest winner or something else as usual. I personally think it's the best reason of recognition among a community. Congrats man !

Congrats Biob! I've seen you helping people out and you've made some super neat stuff, was expecting you to get MotM sooner or later. Good to see you getting recognized!!
Congrats! You really deserved it, both for helping people a lot and for the very useful resources. Things like the jump-activated spikes and extending blocks are interesting, I'll definitely be using these in the future.
For what I've seen, you're one of the most helpful and productive members. Totally deserved nomination, this was bound to happen sooner or later. Congrats!
