I working on a new hack call Toad Strange Island.

Story
Toad got off on a sail to explore new lands, because he wanted to be the new Captain Toad. During his adventure, he stops at a very strange island, containing odd inhabitants and a weird environment. Will Toad be able to conquer the island and become the new Captain Toad?

That's surely an improvement over your UMW project. You're clearly evolving, even though stuff is not the best.

The title screen font is a bit strange, and you swapped letters in there. It's written strnage right now but I guess you've already noticed and fixed it. Anyway, the title screen BG is pretty boring as it looks empty. You could perhaps add clouds, or isles, maybe hills... it's up to you.

The OW is shaping up kinda okay, but it demands serious attention on perspective, as many, many other people said in the general showoff thread. I'm not too fond of the floating blocks/balloons/stuff in it but that's just my tastes. And the burned (?) trees in the grey isle don't look like burned trees in my opinion. You could maybe draw a dead tree from scratch.

I like the looks of 1-1 so far. It's simple but decent. It's what I liked most here as of now. I hope it plays well. As for an HDMA gradient, you could get this tool and try to convert the generated gradients to uberASMTool yourself. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out, but if you need help, don't be afraid to ask.

1-2 Turn Block Grasslands.

That why i name toad strange island.

Anyway in this level you found a angry turn block with is act like a hopping Flame.

The turn block theme is kinda original. Don't recall anyone making a level based off of this. But I find the 1F0 tiles a bit weird, even though they're amusing to look at. Also, I dunno about the reskinned hopping flames, because one may try to stomp them and they're not stompable. Perhaps color them red to make they look more menacing?

Well, as I told you via PM, don't feel discouraged for the lack of feedback. Keep working normally and eventually people will comment in here. This also means: avoid begging for attention at all costs. It's not nice.

Looking a lot better than your previous works, but there's still room for improvement. The design overall doesn't look too bad from what I can see, and the aesthetics also seem decent, but there are some weird things I'd like to note.

1. Honestly, the 1F0 blocks are terrible as they are. More experienced hackers will know how it works, but their graphics do not indicate how they behave in any way to newer players, so I highly recommend changing it to literally anything else (some sort of outline-only block might work).

2. The hopping flame turn block (and the flame trails) also need to be changed, since there's no indication that they can't be stomped on at the moment. Any enemy the player cannot simply jump on should be made obvious by their graphics (flames are pretty obvious, anything that has spikes also isn't safe to touch, etc). Dangerous sprites should look dangerous.

3. Fairly minor when compared to the two above, but the background palette in all levels you have shown so far are very similar to the FG palette. Some more variety would be nice.
