Just finished another sprite (well at least revamped it). Remember my Mini-Necky sprite, well I revamped it to use only one sprite for the nut and to use the extra bit. If the extra bit is clear it is a Mini-Necky; however, if it is set it acts like a Mini-Necky that shoots 3 nuts at you in a spread shot type of fashion
Can't wait to get a hold of it should you decide to release it. This is Mini-Necky improved and it's kind of like how Carol made boss sprites such as Marx do more things than their originals. In this case, Mini-Necky spits nuts like never before.

Gonna release it now. I'm also going to ask the moderators to delete my older submission since this is a much improved sprite and will save a hacker a sprite slot.

In case anyone wonders, if you inserted the old one, you can just replace it with the new one straight away, you don't need to edit any graphics or palettes, or change any level design.

As for Mario's Nightmare Quest? Well, it's currently on Fusion Gameworks, ROM Hacking.net or the GCN at the moment.
This causes the energy display in the status bar to flash red when the energy is within a critical value. It also changes value when an energy tank is acquired.
Here's a showoff of my soon to be released Framal Blocks: Youtube link

So, uh... do these "framal blocks" have the potent to run on ANY frame? Even beyond frame 0F? Can they go all the way to frame FF to match the potent of Lunar Magic 1.7+?

it's cool and all but i would think having a lot of those on screen would severely cut the nmi time. assuming exanimation runs during nmi.

Even though ExAnimation may run in NMI, that doesn't mean that the block codes do. Therefore they shouldn't reduce NMI time much more than regular ExAnimation. Also I think ExAnimation uses DMA, anyways, which is pretty fast.
That's cool. Do the small tiles also have a modified collision (a smaller hitbox)?
No. Did they in SMG?
Yeah, but that's something entirely different, anyways. In SMG the blocks shrank in width, here they shrink in height. It would just look weird if you were standing in the air. What you could do, I guess, would be moving the graphics of the small tiles up to the top of the block.

If you wanted to be fancy you could make the shrinking blocks non-solid and fiddle with $1471 somehow. It might be better to just make them sprites though.
Here is an idea I had a while ago for something like this: I wonder if it is possible to change blocks to different slopes platforms. Like a - / | \ - pattern (only with shallow and steep slopes as well). I doubt that is practical given how slopes are picky about how they connect together. Heck, this plus some of the "oneshot" animations and you might be able to do crazy ghost and ghouls shit though. XD
