Instead, I'll completely change the gimmick. For one, it'll use this sprite:

The aesthetic looks almost identical to 1-5, but I'm assuming you're going to change that level eventually. Other than that there's nothing much else to say right now.
I liked the ball gimmick tbh, but this is cool too. I assume you're changing the name? Also, is the Piranha your custom sprite? Looks like it would be really cool for levels where you want both Yoshi and a Podobo like enemy.

there is way too much going on at once here. if it was just the platform and the bowling ball sure, it'd be fine, but the piranha plant there makes it a combination of a waiting game and a guessing game.

other than that it was pretty cool. just fix those and it should be good to go

I know its kinda ironic to be complaining about my own section, but since the bowling balls work a bit differently from how they were when I originally made it some of the setups don't really work quite as intended.

This one is especially bad because I doubt most players would expect the bowling ball from the left suddenly coming from up high (since it wasn't supposed to in the first place), which can result in unfair hits.


If you want I could redesign the level a bit and send it to you again to fix them.

Now regarding the second half:

No powerups at all.

This ledge feels kinda weird since I'd expect it to have something, yet it doesn't seem to have any purpose.



Having the bowling ball so close to the spring makes the jump kinda uncomfortable, so I'd move it 1 tile to the right at least.

how did you remember they worked? I tweaked it a bit and made it so extra bit 3 they fall when Mario gets close, and extra bit 2 fall with no warning. Maybe it's that.

Changed the rest. Use this if you plan to change your section.

They would trigger as soon as they were on screen, so I'd assume it has something to do with what you said.

Still went ahead and made some changes on my section to accommodate so here's the level file.

Also I could still get to this ledge offscreen but it's not really a problem.


So accept from me.
