Welcome to the Graphics Rips Showoff Thread, where you can post images and other files of your latest rip to get some attention and feedback!

Mind the following rules though:
  1. It's recommended to comment on someone's work before you post your own work.
    - But please don't complain when your post is being ignored, nor repost it again if it did get ignored.

  2. Do not quote images or videos when posting.
    - They take up a lot of space on a page when quoted, making pages unnecessarily longer.

  3. Link huge .gif images instead.
    - Small ones to show off animations are fine, but something larger than 1MB needs to be linked.

  4. Provide ExGFX, Map16, MWL (sample level) files if you want more detailed feedback.
    - It's hard to comment on images of graphics rips alone, but if you provide those files people can comment on optimization and methods. But if you insist in posting images only, just don't be surprised if you end up not getting useful feedback.
Well, for starters, I ripped the Beta SMM SMB tileset (and made 3 other themes)
I also made most of the standard blocks from Battle block Theater, and ripped the Grandopolis gfx from Grand Dad Mania.

(I can't post the pics at the moment because I'm writing this on an Amazon Fire.)
The Lost Vikings - Egypt

I ripped some tilesets of a hard to rip tileset game (I love The Lost Vikings, it's one of my favorite series) Feel free to insert them in SMW (I don't know how to create tilesets to Lunar Magic tho).

The Lost Vikings II - Dark Ages

This was a pain in the butt to rip and organize, but it was worth it.

Just putting my rip of an entire game's tile graphics here. Click on an image to go to that item.

Still not pictured; the pirate ship.

This is everything I've ripped that isn't GFX made by other people. Click on a screenshot to go to the respective page of that screenshot.

EDIT (2018-03-24: Added SMAS: SMB2 title screen).

As it's okay to do this, I'll show off the only ripped graphics I've submitted here that I'd be okay with showing off! I noticed SMW Central had 0 Doraemon game tileset rips, so I ripped one from the first Super Famicom Doraemon game, even if the tilesets in that game aren't as good-looking as the later games; I'll just say the shading just doesn't look right and get to showing it off!
Doraemon: Nobita to Yousei no Kuni - Sand Pit Dungeon

It looks pretty dark and unfitting in Super Mario World, but then again, most graphics clash with its bright, cartoony graphics.

Try out my game, Mary's Magical Adventure!

Well I had a C3 thread but seeing as that's over I figured I'd post an update here.

I've been ripping the Super Mario Land 2 DX over world with a bit of modification to align with the original paths a bit more.

Currently I've gotten most of the larger objects ripped just need to get the Mario doll, Moon/Star, Pumpkin, Tree and Turtle.

I'm using 16x16 tiles for the larger objects to make them fit into the map better but I'm also planing on creating SML2 styled level dots, castle, pipes, etc...

Well, since I have a few seconds to spare, I may as well show off a few ripped GFX sets:

Klubba's area from Donkey Kong Country 2. Not something anyone would likely find a use for, but it looks somewhat neat I guess.

Water/ice temple from Magic Popn.

A tileset for inside a creature's body, taken from a GFX pack by PROX on the Super Mario Bros X forums. Surprisingly creepy, especially when used with a somewhat visceral or disturbing background.

As for Mario's Nightmare Quest? Well, it's currently on Fusion Gameworks, ROM Hacking.net or the GCN at the moment.
Since I've been out for a long time, I thought it would be nice to show this to you:

This tileset not only that it uses less than 1 ExGFX file, but it uses the regular SMW palette, palette 5 to be exact. I also added the green tile.

Small platform and monty hole added.

You can also add decorations like in SMW. You might want to use some custom blocks.

Slopes added. This tileset is complete. And just for fun, I added the hole for the giant mega mole.
Any comments? This will be released.

That water looks pretty cool. From what game did you rip it? Do you plan to release it?

The water borders look a little bit thick, so maybe even if it's a rip they can be "adapted" somehow in order to fit better the SMW style?
It's the layer 3 water from Yoshi's Island (seen in level 4-6 mainly). It's in fact a direct rip from the game's graphics, which by the way let you conclude why the water has that characteristic style. I just need to re-arrange the tiles a bit and it should be ready to be released #w{=)}

late edit: released
I ripped these animations and used DynamicZ to make a custom player.

It's Smolder, a teenage dragoness from Season 8 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. I LOVE DRAGONS, way more than ponies!

It's not a complete player, though. It's missing some animation frames, such as looking up, ducking, breathing fire, swimming, holding items, dying, and maybe more, and those will have to be drawn manually.

Extremely late, but nice animations DPBOX, it's always nice to see people using DZ features.

Also, I have ripped something:

Very detailed background, after all it's from a DS game, and due for that I had to sacrifice a lot of colors (however the first half of palettes 2 and 6 and the status bar colors are completely free). Had to use all GFX slots, except FG3 and animated parts of FG1 and 2. Not sure if usable under normal circumstances, but I'm probably going to release it anyway.

Also, for the curious, the game is
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky, it's the upper part of some of the intro cutscenes
Very pretty background, Shiny Ninetales.

Should I even bother releasing this? I ask because it uses 5 GFX files (FG2, FG3, BG1, BG2 and BG3. Yes, that's after getting rid of duplicate tiles too.) The amount of colors has been reduced to just 16 though, looking on the bright side. It was 30 colors. Here is the original, ripped from the game using a tile mapper, to compare the color difference. Not too noticeable.

I'm leaning towards no but if people want it or think I should anyways, I'll do it.
Layout by RanAS, modified by yours truly.

Ugh, just the sight of Smithy's giant metal face creeps me the hell out

Well, that certainly makes it hard to use, because you only will have 1 "full" slot to add a possible FG, and I said "full" because FG1 uses quite space for the vanilla animations. So unless you disable them for the level in question, it's "usable", but still a bit messy to work with it, I guess.

Still a cool rip, I'm sure some people could find it usable somehow, maybe in a Boss room or something. Not sure if it's something that graphics' mods could accept though (and the same goes for my rip).

Also, I'm almost done with another rip, a font from a DOS game (the filename spoils it!):

Font does look good, Shiny Ninetales.
I ripped the following tileset, along with some help, but I'll be releasing it at this year's C3. Here's a peek:

Looks very sweet, Rykon. I imagine some BG clouds moving with parallax scrolling would look very neat.

Here's little background rip from japan-exclusive RPG called "Magical Vacation":

Some of it isn't normally visible due to other layers obscuring view.
Very good-looking BG, RussianMan. I released a BG and will release another tileset today. I'll start with the BG:
Download if you want
This BG not only it uses 5 palettes(it doesn't affect the SMW status bar and palette 6), but it's one of the most dangerous tile-consuming BGs of them all. You have access to a few objects. This BG comes from Jikkyou Oshaberi Parodius the city section. If ExGFX Revolution Patch was compatible with LM 3.04, then you might have access to more tiles.
the BG anf FG come from the same game, the candy section.

The FG consumes 5 palettes, but you can use the colors from palette 1 as coins. Palette 0 and 1 are unaffected.

Here's the BG in action. Uses palette 2 and the grey color is actually used for an HDMA gradient.

The tileset has a sample level. A hard one to assemble. Feedback is appreciated.
