In the overworld editor click the 'Layer 1 Event Editor Mode' and then press page up on your keyboard and hold it down untill on the bottom it says 'Already at end (Event 0x77)' then highlight the hills you want to delete and press delete.
And you can have more than one event by pressing page up once while on the 'Layer 1 Event Editor Mode', this will take it to the next available event there is.
Apart from forgetting to place most of the inner corner tiles (even the water ones), that overworld looks pretty decent, if a bit flat. Though I kind of wonder how the paths and events for it are set up...
The patch only does a few hex edits; you have to set the overworld up for yourself. Just place empty level tiles with all directions enabled wherever you want Mario to be able to go.
I'm good at designing an OW it's just on most level tiles it has a wierd blue background (around the yellow/red circle/cave/water thing)and I can't get it to go away and it gets worse when I try to copy a tile off of somewhere else! Please somebody do like a video or picture tutorial or something like that!
-------------------- I will become alive again sometime soon.
I can't make a freaking overworld for my life. I understand that overworlds shouldnt have blockyness or have cut off parts but I'm not good at designing them. I keep practicing and dont get better. Does anyone have any advice? If so thank you.
