only one exit from each level is needed to get into world x whether the secret or normal exit. like in vldc7 only the one exit each level would get you into the hall of fame.
As long as there was still an indicator for the secret exits, I'd be fine with that. Perhaps even make it so the indicators for dragon coins & secret exits are separated from the normal exit indicator to make people aware they are optional.
Dude 170 levels is a lot, you could only require like 50% of the exits and it would still be about as much as we had in VLDC9 I think. Not doing any actual math or counting the amount of secret exits or anything so I might be very off
Instead, there should be a screens project thingt where everyone in the best world and all the judges collaborate and build 1 screen, but everyone beforehand agrees on a general gimmick or theme.
That would actually be a cool idea. Though, I would actually think that events would work really well with this idea. And, well, if possible, the levels should play out like a normal SMW hack would. This way, it would really build up to the finale of the game, instead of allowing people to play what they want at will, which worked the last World X maps, but not so with this idea if we go with it.
That actually is a pretty good idea. What could the picture be of, though? There's only so many designs you can do that remain consistent with the judge levels' themes, or at the very least remain universal. Maybe a star or a mushroom?
