Ok, I was thinking of something like this: Had to fix overly large image looking ugly
It looks slightly better like that (after all it is "DLC" so maybe adding new graphical stuff should be allowed?) and yes I didnt use the yellow switch as an example.
I finished my level, here it is (YI2 is set to 118). I tested it with yoshi and all three forms of mario, so it should be ok to go; although I feel like I overdid it with the secret exit. If you can't figure out how to get it, would you mind telling me?
@ Hyperfenix I do like it , but the majority of the group doesn't want custom palletes.
@mes I won't be able download untill later. Then I'll check it out !
@ mariodoge how is your level?
I didn't try to emulate the original level, I simply made whatever came to my mind. As you can see, it's a branching paths level. If you know what you're doing, it should take you around 100 seconds to beat it.
It's been a while since I designed something using zero external resources, so I'm not sure how this one's turned out.
@ Minuy600 ok thank you.
@ mes I'm glad you posted screen shots. I'm excited to try this level, your level design is way better than mine.
@ Mario Doge, thanks for checking in.
@mes I really liked your level and was able to beat it. I don't think I've played anything that creative before. It had a couple small issues to fix, either you or I can do it. Up by the second jumping chuck small Mario got stuck. Probably just adding a throw block instead of one of the turn blocks. The bone after the note block maybe should be one down? I'm really not sure on this, I played with a keyboard and I usually use a controller, so that might actually be me. I was super excited you remembered to use switch blocks. but I think you used the wrong ones to obtain secret exit because I think you get the red palace after this secret exit. This was a really good level though.
@ Lucky Bacon
yes, yes, yes, yes but however for simplicity we are using the same exit numbers as the original. Yes I know it is a pain, but it's one less list to keep track of. The next time around they will be free.
I finished #6 by the way. I'll have to post screen shots later.
@zacmario Hey I'm glad you liked it! Tho saying it's the most creative level ever is way too exagerated lol. Here is a new version improving some of the stuff you pointed out.

Actually the secret exit is supposed to be obtained without the red switch (after all the secret exit leads to the red switch), but I felt I kinda overdid with it. It seems you didn't find it. If you have the time, can you try searching for it again? If you can't then I can record a video about it or something. If you feel it's too hard to get then I can tweak the level to make it easier to find.

lol why would you say that. You're the one who's got one of his hacks featured. Also, I don't even show the few stuff I've done, how can you even say that lol.
level 6
is changing a vanilla bg color to another ok? I guess not. I'll change it back.
@MasterSkodwarde I understand, it's ok.
@ Minuy600 nice, I'll see it when it's ready.
@mes I still didn't get the secret exit, but I still didn't play with a controller maybe the jump going back is bit high. It's hard to know untill we see the other levels if it is to hard. I hate to change it, but we want everyone to succeed. I'm not as professional at smw as some of the others around here either, maybe it should be up beta testers?
Wait did you post a second version, I need to try that. Maybe I do need the video answer, so I can tell if was just me being silly.
