Well the castle was a bit long for 300 secs, but it was an excellent level so I went against the rules and added 100 secs.
If you don't mind id like to remove the Twomp above the door at the end of the rising lava. Otherwise then that I found the level very enjoyable, I was particularly amused by the hidden dragon coin I found by mistake.
FGH will probably be ready next year.

There are some big changes, mostly to reduce frustration. Hidden objects and passages are somewhat more telegraphed, and there are a couple more powerups, having noticed that there were very few in a level with lots of dangers to harm Mario. I also decided to make the regular exit the more difficult one to conquer, so that players making their way towards FoI4 are not frustrated beyond reason.

That being said, it still isn't easy. Nor should it be. This is a house of the dead. I want you to poke around, explore, and remember that fortune favors the brave. There are quite a few secrets that are optional, but well-hidden.

Yeah i'd like to know too if there's a problem with my level, it's 11C

It's a super simple level but if there's a problem with it i don't mind fixing it
I haven't been able to beat vanilla ghost house yet to try your level.

Green switch palace was good.
Donut Ghost house was a bit unfocused and the secret exit is pretty easy (maybe make the key slightly harder to get?)

Star World 1 in the rom is unchanged, and havent been able to reach your other two stages.

Also, Aguni_, your level was good as far as I'm concerned.

New Donut Ghost House

The original game never used light switches as Mario-only blocks, but it's not a glitch, so it's allowed to use them right? Midpoint might be lopsided, but nobody wants to fail at the same thing over and over and have to start the level again. And finally, the "key filter" which involves throwing the key to the other side isn't broken, it's meant to be a "choose your path" segment.

What RZ1 said, although we have to unfortunately remove the note blocks from the donut ghost house. Also I haven't found a way to get to the big boo battle, which is required to unlock top secret area.

Your original was enjoyable, but to hard for the average joe. I must say you are preety clever level designer, thanks for updating.
Lukacspatrick I haven't tried your updated level yet.

Most of the levels need no or minor tweaks. So this actually should be finished preety soon!

What? Isn't that Donut Secret House that has the big boo battle?
If you have to remove the note blocks, replace them with other solid blocks please.

I don't know, all I know is neither regular or secret exit open the top secret area.

NM, you had a secret goal tape, a normal one opens top secret. So thats fixed.

130 seems to be missing it's secret exit. I cant continue in the star world.
valley of bowser 4 is either kazio or impossible. That level has to be a little easier to navigate.

Getting closer to a 1.0 release.
Known issues. You cant get past level 130 yet, but its being fixed.
I dont know if Valley of bowser 4 is impossible or kazio.

Old save wont work with the new, sorry. However if you really want it to be you can export the levels and put them in the old rom.


We have gone back to using the "Advanced rom" Which Lui37 added features to. Check his forum out in the finished hacks forum if you like.
What's with all the changes to the second half of my stage? The completely change the point of the obstacles...

Yeah, can confirm, something feels wrong about Valley of Bowser 4, and I don't quite get what did change. It's beatable, but... I will likely release a few tweaks to difficulty later on.

Sorry RZ1 I thought was to hard, and felt bad to ask for it to be easier. Would you mind making it a little easier?
Hey just a little heads up: if you're gonna make changes to levels, make sure you don't accidentally get rid of all the challenge. I noticed this in my VD3:



There used to be a hammer bro on that flying platform. By removing it you made this part of the level completely obsolete. Now the player gets to wait on the skull raft and do nothing for ten seconds while there are pointless platforms in the air.
A much better way to go about this would've been, for example, to keep the hammer bro and add a second grey falling platform in the middle. Or to replace the flying platform with two munchers and replacing the second grey platform with some other obstacle. I highly recommend you change this because the way it is right now, it's just going to confuse players because of how pointless it is.

btw the claims list still says that I made VoB2, which I didn't. From what I can tell, no one's actually made that level yet (or it hasn't been inserted)
I will put the hammer bro back.

This also means I need someone more skilled at playing. I can't beat some of these levels.
It's no fault of the authors either, I have trouble with the original special world as it is.
