Tip: Entering a door or pipe, activating a P-Switch or grabbing a star, completing the level, hitting a message block, and dying will cause issues on the title screen, such as causing musical glitches, or trapping the player in an endlessly-looping level.

So, like mes already mentioned, this project has to be most horrible timed project in exsistince. It's a good project bad time. We need to let the dust settle from oldc before we make any major decisions, but here are some possibilitys.
1. leave it the way it is.
pros. Absolutely no change to work needed.
cons. Playing the waiting game of interest to rise after contest and playing oldc. (it will be a while before anyones wants to look at a plain level.
2. Change some mechanics, such as use raccoon mario include wall jump, lite exgfx or even excluding mario and only playing as yoshi.
pros. minor changes needed.
cons. Enough change to perk intrest?
3. Go completely chocolate.
pros, May be what people want to see next.
Cons. More work needed to convert exsisting levels ( I would help with that)
4. Smb2 styled gameplay. ditch q-blocks and turn blocks for veggies and other pluckiness gimmicks.
Pros. still may not need alot of change. There are enough decent artwork out there that is vannilla styled smb2 graphics.
cons. Not sure if this pro or con. But game play is completely different. I can even tweak the physics to similar to mario in smb2.
I think it's not necessery to convert vanilla levels to chockolate. I'm thinking about "do whatever you want" option. Just make levels, use any resources you want, like VIPs, JUMP, etc.
Yeah, those would be neat to have. Raccoon would be great for hiding secrets up in the air to be found, wall jumping would also help to create tricky puzzles.
If it turns out to be non-vanilla I will pull out of this. Sorry guys. If I can still make it vanilla normally I have no problem and I will get started tomorrow.
