I did the Mushroom Hills overworld!... It's very simple, even, I'm not very good at doing overworlds... #smw{-_-2}
On the left side it shows the Map without any event, and on the right shows the map with events, I hope you like it!


And that is it! Soon I will show more levels of the hack. #smw{;)}

The use of decoration and custom GFX looks astounding and I actually love it. Only the water part of the overworld map looks bare. Add some icebergs/islands/misc. on it

I've edited the overworld now, now it has more decorations to avoid the immense amount of water from the other overworld. Like the previous one, on the left side shows the overworld without any events, and in the right shows with events, I hope you enjoy!

Another level finished, Mushroom Hills 4, this level has several donuts lifts being used in several different ways, and several types of Chargin Chuckys trying to get in the way, check out the screenshots.

These are the kind of chocolate(?) hack I would really enjoy, but the last few screenshots lack pizzazz. Maybe try to add some more enemies.
Three last screenshots look empty. Maybe add more enemies/decoration? Other than that, looks quite great!

The last level of the first world, and the first castle of the hack, Boom Boom Castle, the level itself is very simple, nothing too special, he is focused on using sparkys in several different ways.



And some more old and new mechanics!



As the name of the level says, this is the Boom Boom castle, and he is the boss of this stage, his pattern is quite simple, he only needs to be attacked four times to be defeated, and after 2 hits he gets a little more difficult, giving some larger jumps, a very simple boss for the first world.



And some references on the first screen of the first two stages from SMB1, because I'm out of ideas...



This is not really the last level that was missing, there will still be the Switch Palace and some final touches to finalize the first demo, but for now that's all. :)

Now we go to the first and only secret level of world 1, Mushroom Hills A! This is a Switch Palace level, but it's not just a simple bonus to getting lives and pushing the switch button, but yes an extra challenge! The Switch Palace levels will be harder versions of the levels from the specific world (in this case Mushroom Hills), but to compensate, they will be shorter levels and without any Star Coins. At this level is introduced the boomerang bros and a specific block that can only be destroyed by a Chargin Chucky. This level is harder than the others, but in general, it's easy.



An interesting fact about Switch Palaces stages is that they will be completely replayable, if you hit the switch once, if you get into the same room of the switch again, it will not appear again, but you can exit the stage from the right without needing to press start+Select.



The demo of the first world is almost ready, I plan to launch it when the C3 starts, but as long as I keep working on it, take the picture of the title screen (if you ask, the background level is Mushroom Hills 4).

Yeah, I agree. You need to add more scenery here. I think it's enough monsters on the second screen since it's a world 1 level. Good job otherwise

Last post of the hack before the C3, now I'm going to show the new title screen, the plot and a new skill for Waluigi.


I think the font of the new title screen was better than the old one, now the font doesn't consume more than half the screen, and also has a small detail of the "Press start", which disappears after pressing start.

I intend to make a bigger cutscene explaining a bit more of the plot, but in the first demo will be just that.



To differentiate Waluigi from Mario, he now shoots fireballs straight, like Luigi.

After a long time after I released the first demo on C3, I'm finally posting two screenshots showing a bit of the second world of the hack, Koopa Island! This is a more or less a double world, has beach levels, but also has forest levels. But that neither I demonstrated in the first overworld, this also will show a screenshot without the events, and another with the events, I hope you guys like it:
