I'm starting from scratch because it didn't really feel like a Namco Arrangement game, which was the main intention. With that said, here'd be the similarities.
-New takes on old enemies
-Nods to old levels (No blatant edits/remakes)
Because of this, the first world's gonna be Yoshi's Island.
-Volcano Of Bowser
-Gold Star World
The reason I don't have a lot to show is because I've been getting back into the swing of things.
The visuals still look okay, but I agree, they seem kinda old. The levels also feel kinda empty. You can put some more decoration. BTW, how much are you focusing on custom blocks/sprites?I have a Discord server as well!
I'll change Yoshi's Island 1 into a slope. I'm sorry if it looks repetivie, I'm trying to get back into the swing of things. But trust me, it won't be repetitive. I just gotta get back into the swing of things here.
Anyways I made 2 new userbars for this hack. These ones use the arcade Arrangement bars and not the GBA one.
The screenshots look quite good for me. Terrain is generally varied up and the ideas with munchers look pretty great. Only one problem: passing the level after the first screen the level may look flat and boring.I have a Discord server as well!
