I'm surprised that nobody replied. Anyways, this hack have issues.
The main problem is variation
. Honestly, all levels looks plain, no decorations, and even samey sprites! Only chucks and those... flying... things. It doesn't make hack fun to play, you can put more sprites, no matter they placeholders or not.
I'm really not a fan of the "no forward momentum". I dunno, it just feels weird.
1st level suffers from sprite tile issues. Sometimes, Twilight sparkle's head disappears, and even chucks body!
The maze part is one of the worst things I ever seen. It's unclear were to go, even with those arrows. They lead to confusion, and I even had to look in LM, because of how confusing it was.
Miscolored shatter pieces.
Stupid spike mazes! It get's worse with no forward momentum, but maybe it's just me. Playr can get confused, because of 16x16 hitbox, and 32x32 player's GFX. Really tight spaces. And the "best" part is flight section... it's boring. It's really long and boring. Just fly, dodge enemies, that's it. Combine with Lack of power-ups. PLEASE make the flight sections shorter! Also, I see that you added lakitus in that section. That's better than just "flying things", but you can take them out very easily.
Dark Maze. It's empty. That's what I can say about it, really.
Other Minor issues:
You still can press B button when ded to rise up. Nothing major, it's just weird
Aaaaand, that's about it. I don't consider this as bad hack, but it could have been polished a bit before submitting.
