Hi there, StrikeForcer here, creator of Mysterious Islandz (on hiatus atm) and Mario: The Dark World (also on hiatus), as well as contest entries such as Party Paradise (runner-up of GeminiSunfall's Sumer Level Contest last year) Frantic Forgeworks (Talkhaus MAGL3, did level design and concepts, came 32nd) and Lost Leafage (VLDCX) as three examples of my SMW hacking work and I am here to bring you what I have been doing this summer so far.

This is basically a collection of various levels themes I have in mind. No demo yet because levels arent finished, some of em hastily made that will do the extra polish, and I plan to finish this hack later this month give and take since June was not a productive month for my motivation. I am keeping this hack small and sizeable to between 5-10 levels if because I don't have the time and patience to make something bigger.

Graphics Credits: icegoom, Dakress (baseROM SMW Redrawn), Skewer (three tilesets shown, one on request), Kixune (Frantic Forgeworks factory set), and Blind Devil (Outer Castle Wall/Inside Castle)

I may show a tileset I recently am making, shown it off on the SMWC Discord, and will release later if I have the time to complete it.

Thanks for stopping by, and enjoy your C3.

On Pixel Art Requests: I generally do not accept free work unless I either have the time, if I see your project worth my time to contribute towards, and that is usually me doing the approaching to you on that second part. I do not accept speculative work as I do have various art I made on-hand with me. I am more receptive to paid work and equivalent exchange of resources (trades) in which case, you can DM me wherever I have an active presence on for the details and we can work something out. If not, then don't DM unless absolutely necessary.

You have clearly chosen the correct graphics to use for your hack.

I have. My goal with this hack is to show the viability the style has to be of quality use.

Now then, as I promised, I finished a graphics set.

Thank you for taking your time to read this and have a good C3.

The screenies look fantastic. Design looks well done, and the redrawn GFX environment is pretty consistent. And I'm not saying this because I also drew stuff. Your tileset is pretty good, too, and also fits with SMWR style. I have absolutely no complaints.

Keep up the good work - your stuff look promising.

Sick stuff! I love it, good job!
I love how this has been going along. Even though I've had a tough time getting used to the redrawn style, the screenshots with the hills and the beach stage look better than I would have imagined, so keep up the good work. I'd like to see more of the level design itself, which is usually best understood by actual gameplay.
