A minor tweak of Davros' Goal Point Question Sphere. While the lives routine can be useful to a few people, it can be done by anyone in a matter of seconds by just figuring out how LDA/STA works, thus it warrants removal.

If the user wants to replicate such effect in the original sprite, though, just put LDA #$07 : STA $18E4|!Base2 (#$07 can be any other number to give that amount of lives, of course) right below this in the Goal Sphere code:

Normally it disables moving to the left. If the extra bit is set, rightwards scrolling is disabled.

It even can detect a vertical level and if so, it will disable scrolling upwards. If the extra bit set and it's a vertical level, it disables scrolling downwards.

Description: This generator, when placed in the desired screen exit, will teleport the player when he has collected a configured amount of coins. It can play a sound effect too, but leave that as 00 if you set the amount as 99, as it will not work properly then.
