I hate the controls of the DS port but I like all the extra content that was added. If anyone has can you please send me a link.
Adding the new things from SM64 DS would require a lot of ASM knowledge and extensive time on your hands.

So no, nobody has made a port.

Kaze will take things like Mario Maker and causally make a port like it's no big deal.

I actually started work on porting all of mario 64 ds maps into sm64 yesterday here's a video of the castle ground the textures are acting up and reversing for some reason but this is what I have got so far.

Interesting... I can port music or some textures for you if you want. I'm actually currently porting most of the SM64DS textures to SM64.

I was trying to import the Battle Fort course (ripped using SM64DSe), but every time I select Import Level in the editor to import it, obj_import.exe crashes. I also tried to import the Tox Box test level with the same result. Can anyone help?

What version of the editor are you using? How big is the file size of the maps? Is the file format .obj? Do you have a .mtl file for the .obj?
These are questions to ask when SM64 Editor is not working.
I'm not a pro at the editor or anything, but it's always nice to narrow down the problem.

Also, maybe consider submitting the maps to the Model's Resource?
I noticed not every map is there.

I tried multiple versions of the editor, such as 2.0.9 and 2.1.3. The size of the OBJ is 35,323 bytes. Yes, I have an MTL with the OBJ.

Yeah, this thread is a culmination of every reason I was skeptical of joining this SM64 community, most of you have no idea what you're talking about.

SKELUX has already patched in new controls to SM64DS: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FPsGKXNdvQ

I'd also like to mention that SKELUX has proven multiple times to be able to do everything Kaze can do and way, way more. I know talk like this can probably get me banned but I just wanted to get that off my chest.
Claiming that people have no idea what they're talking about just because they haven't seen one thing is kind of unnecessarily rude. You could've linked that without being condescending!
And who knows, maybe they already knew and still don't like it. Maybe they're just more comfortable with the N64 controller and its stick.

Also, talk like that won't get you banned, or anything like that, no. It's a little strange to compare people like they're soccer teams, but it's all fine.

Your layout has been removed.
That's cool how there's a patch for the controls and all, but I find it fun to make demakes of remakes. It's fun porting textures and maps and finding out how these games worked.

Plus, I really don't like the graphics of the DS version. The models look nice though.
