Long ago I applied this in my hack:

Code
$00A1E3 1 byte ASM Change to 0xEA to keep the game running when a message box is on the screen.

I changed up my mind, and I'd like to restore it back to it's original value, but I don't know which it was.
Help would be appreciated. I'm trying random values but none seems to be the correct one.
You could load up a clean rom and look at that address.

It's what I tried at first with an hex editor; although the values reported in the ROM Map section aren't the same ones used in hex editor.
The ROM map uses SNES addressing but a hex editor uses PC addressing which is why the addresses are different. A much simpler way to find the original value is take a look at all.log.

Code
Return00A1E3: 60 RTS

You can see that the original value is 60 so you can change it back with a hex edit.

Alternatively, use SHex, which supports SNES addresses.
(which can be quite useful if the original value is an opcode like this case, or part of a large table)
