The Platform mario is standing on is Layer 2, the Clouds are Layer 3




I also had to reinsert all the HDMA, because i use UberASMTool now.
I learned to use it pretty fast though.

This level would be very good if there were more enemies than just a fire piranha plant. Although the palettes and HDMA look very nice!

New Level in progress called Breezy Dunes, this is just a gimmick showoff for now, you see those (animated) sandcorns comming from the bottom? that's supossed to represent Wind, comming from the bottom..?
That means, you'll have lower gravity in this level (UberASM Code by wiiqwertyuiop) you can make really high jumps with this.

Since when would a series that allows you to shoot fireballs underwater ever be realistic?

But anyways, those level seem to be a bit empty in terms of enemies. I don't know if this is because you killed all the enemies before taking screenshots or what, but the action seems to be a bit lacking here.

But yeah, that gimmick looks to be interesting, and the level design looks alright enough.

Either way, good luck.

I get it! Maybe Mario games look unrealistic, but nothing's weird behind them. They don't contain floating munchers or levels in unfitting worlds, like maybe a snow level on a desert.

This levelīs aesthetics are wonderful. The only Thing Iīd change perhaps, are the colours of the background. The hillīs sand is super similar to the foreground sand, so Iīd recommend to darken it a bit. Apart from that I really like the fact, that some stars are half-buried in the sand. Neat idea #tb{:]}

The Level design also looks quite decent and enjoyable.
