Three questions
1) In some hacks i notice coin blocks that have a dotted line, indicating a coin block that is not yet activated, but revealed. I wish to add this to my rom, (Only for coin blocks though) I figured this could easily be done with map 16, just wish to know how. (invisible 1 up blocks will still be hidden completely)
2) I am wanting to add Green (frog) coins to my hack. I o also wish that they would be worth more than just a single coin. (Like wise I would also wish for yoshi coins to be worth more than 1 coin) Is this easily done or does it require custom blocks and patches?
3) I am hoping t would just be a patch but is there a make it so you can have up to 999 lives as opposed to the 99
EDIT: 2 different patches required and instead of starting a new thread decided i would ask here since my other questions were answered.
1) A patch that stops yoshi from creating a coin when swallowing an enemy
2) A patch that stops yoshi's fireballs from creating coins.
My patch has 100 coins/level (101 if you miss the goal tape) and coins reset every level (in order to get a 1-up via coins, you need to collect all 100 coins in each level. To avoid possible overlay or people getting extra lives without collecting all 100, I want to avoid extra Coin gathering)
(Granted silver P switches will still turn enemies into coins, but that i do not think it s a quick patch fix where as the yoshi issue i assume would be.)
