Despite what you may have initially thought when reading the title of this thread, no this isn't about classes that are already necessary in school. Instead, this discussion will be about what classes you personally think should be required teaching in order to graduate from high school (secondary school), and why you think that way. Do you think a majority of students would benefit from the additional knowledge of your suggested class? Or do you just think it'd be interesting to see most students have the experience from it? As always, feel free to immediately throw in a joke answer, but I encourage you to put some actual thought into it.
Personally I think Personal Finance should be required teaching in high/secondary school, though to me that seems fairly obvious. A common complaint that people have about school is that they spend several years teaching students mundane stuff that ends up not being helpful, and honestly that complaint has some good ground to stand on. A lot of schools have the option to take Personal Finance, but that doesn't really help when a lot of students just don't have enough room in their schedules to fit an elective. ...you know, an elective which teaches real world information that every student could use once they leave school.
Job skills-fairly obvious. Critical thinking-a skill that is in danger of extinction as people try to argue against ideas or policies by relying on the slippery slope fallacy or invoking Godwin's law just for simply disagreeing with someone.Legacy custom music A site with a non-useless dislike button SMW hacking channel
Studying education - this one is obvious as many students learn about useless facts which don't appear on tests/exams wasting their time spent on learning. This class should learn the students about effective and quick ways to learn for the tests or exams.I have a Discord server as well! (by joining, you agree to the rules)

how about a class where we teach children the basic concept of respect lmaoask me if i give a f*ck...
basic and/or advanced life skills: Ranges from how to cook healthy food to things like how to make a tax declaration. Things that could be more or less useful in real life (instead of things that are absolutely theoretical and you never ever gonna do again once you´ve graduated).

Actually parents should teach this, but this day and age´s youth reveals that a high percentage fails at this.
Internet behavior: I think you know my viewpoint about this already, but kids (including me tbh) get influenced WAY to much about what's happening on the internet and either become very salty or take inspiration from bad actions and end up being tiring or worse.

Gotta say, a basic etiquette class would be kind of nice too. Learn how to respect your GODDAMN neighbor!
relationships this is because a lot of people's relationship skills end up being subpar at best
getting a job people tend to be left in the dark about this type of thing. it might make more sense to have it be a portion of personal finance though. if I misunderstood and those two mean the same thing, I'm sorry
schedule managenent useful
honestly I'd just restructure the whole school system. you take a few central required classes like those in this thread, and you basically just pick electives (some of which would be the old required classes) depending on what career interests you. there would be presets, but you could make your own. electives also become way more diverse.
there should be a basic getting a job class in middle school too, so teens can start making money early
ninja'd. guess I should've been faster lol
common sense - something that isn't very common in today's age that needs to be taught
