I'm in favour of the highlight thing. If you guys record this podcast on discord, then one way to achieve this is utilizing
this (Voice Widget) in a creative manner. Someone will have to record the browser output of that URL and then send it to the editor. You could probably customize it further with custom CSS (Stylish or OBS Browser Source custom CSS?).
I've only listened to the first and third podcasts so far. Maybe it's just me but it feels like Impetus gets ignored sometimes, I'm not sure if it's because her mic quality is sub-standard and people don't understand what she's saying and it'd be too awkward to repeat herself all the time. Either way, decent desktop and/or headset mics are pretty cheap nowadays. Or you could overkill it like I did and get a blue snowball or some AT mic or something lmao. Or maybe it's some messed up windows setting which ruins the bitrate or whatever. Either way, definitely look for a solution. No offense but yeah!
QuoteAlso imo podcasts are meant to be listened to in the background of doing other stuff. Nobody except the most die hard fans are expected to sit still and watch an entire blank video just for the sake of it
Yeah I think that is the most common case. As you start listening to more podcasts, you'll just eventually *know* that a certain voice belongs to a certain someone.
Originally posted by hobzThey can get gaming news and opinions from literally any other person ever. They can hear about creepypastas and horror games on any other podcast ever.
It's still nice to hear our people's thoughts on certain topics. Because it has been done on other podcasts doesn't mean it shouldn't be done here also. Maybe this SMWC podcast is people's first podcast they ever started following, dunno. Personally, I quite enjoyed the SMWC podcasts I've listened to.
If you guys ever want to have a podcast featuring ASM stuff, you could count me in

(but I'm not saying you *should* have one; I'm not sure how many people would be interested in listening to technical mumble-jumble)
That's all the feedback I have so far.
