|Description: ||This is the Middle Ring from Yoshi's Island, which acts as a checkpoint (and turns all nearby enemies into stars). This version can be set to activate a normal midway point or one of multiple checkpoints enabled via a multi-midway patch. It comes with graphics, but it can also use vanilla graphics from the first page. |
This sprite has extremely weird effects on the OAM overall: it eats up Mario's tiles almost all the time (even if he's alone on the screen), and sometimes also nullify other sprite tiles. Otherwise, it seems to work perfectly: so fix that aspect, and I'll be glad to approve it.
On a side note: it could be a nice addition to give the sprite an option to do something when the game is paused and SFXs are played (maybe coins, or score). But of course that's a mere suggestion.
