Gameplay:

A-NSMW will play like your standard SMB game with gimmicks from previous mario games including; SMB, SMB2, SMB3, SMW, NSMB

Graphics:

The game will feature a colorful aesthetic art style with custom sprites and graphics :D

Engine:

The game is being developed on Gatate Mario Engine v8.5.1 but will be ported to newest engine for GMS

Demo:

You will be able to play the full demo with 10+ levels when it's released this year. Lots of work and polish is going into this game and I want it to be a fun and exciting all-new adventure!

This level is incredibly long, especially for a first level!

I like how this all looks and feels to play, my only real complaints would be that the bushes have really ugly shading (look at the last screenshot, that yellow around the bushes looks pretty bad) and that the controls are bad.
Why can't you remap the arrow keys? Why not make spinjump the same key as dismount?

All your concerns will be fixed when the final demo is released.

Also, long levels will be mostly in the game to stretch playtime so expect the full demo to be 1-2 hours long
This game is very good! The level is indeed pretty long, but it's fun. I like the the the big question blocks!#ab{;)}

Updated the download with a more recent build. Nothing major just a few graphical changes, I also added purple pswitch coins to the sky area to make collecting those coins more of a challenge
This looks very awesome. The graphic style is perfect, looking like a revamped SMB/SMW hybrid. The visuals are insanely good and charming; very NSMB-looking, but still 16bit-looking at heart.
I wish you luck in this project, and I want to follow it.

Sadly, Superfly hasn't been on for 6 months if you look, and his Youtube only has one video of this, so it looks like this project is dead, very disappointingly.
