This hack initially started as a self-imposed challenge to make a low-effort full-hack in under a few months (and to release it for this C3), in the hopes of making something that still somehow better than the average romhack, while having rude level design similar to my inspirations. At some point, I was too occupied to properly finish it, and also lost my focus with what I actually wanted to do with it. In the end, I rushed out this little shitpost demonstration in the hopes that people may or may not see something promising in this. If people want to see this being continued while also being more polished and focused, I will gladly work on it more. But for now, this is what I have to show. If you are not pleased with it, you may not be the right audience for it. Either way, thanks for playing and tell me your thoughts!

tfw it was while playing this hack that I realized Arle Area 2 from Nazo Puyo sounds like Cyan Helkaraxe Riding in the Tour de France from monsquaz

I prefer level design focused stuff like this over aesthetics and "Nintendo-quality" focused works not gonna lie

Only had to give myself a midpoint at the end of SUGER LOVE HOTEL, everything else was toolless.

good difficulty good game (for as far as i've gotten at least)

Very very very shortly, this drab, workaday world and everything in it will be changed forever! Follow us into the golden country, into the empire of the senseless!

This is actually pretty damn good, seriously. It's entertaining, challenging and very well designed! Some background palettes are really good too, they all fit very well. I don't have many complains other than some sections being not so fair to the difficulty curve, otherwise it's gucci.
The soundtrack could be better though, I'm way too burnt of SMB songs at this point, can't stand them any longer :c (maybe because I've never liked it in the first place)
