Tip: Try making new backgrounds using SMW's existing graphics. For example, if you have a hilly BG, rearrange it to make it look more unique. Not logged in.
Super Mario's End - A hack that probably isn't hard enough for a name like this (On hold)

NOTICE: This hack is now on hold in exchange for a new hack I'm working on.

Hello. You are either interested in my hack, or you clicked this by accident. Anyway, welcome. First of all, the name is merely just a name that I thought of trying to think of names for hard SMW hacks, although that may change. Not the name, but it being pointless. This is probably a little more advanced than your typical beginner hack. My goal for this hack is to make it start out simple, nothing too complicated, but then have it get more and more complex as time goes on.
Anyway, let's just get to the levels.

Level 1: Unnamed

Description: This level is meant to introduce you to what the game will be like, letting you know what you're getting into. Mechanics that weren't originally in SMW, such as blocks that only sprites can touch, blocks that are only solid depending on the ON/OFF switch, stuff like that.

Screenshots:

Video: The first level in action. As you can probably tell, the level isn't very decorated. That's because I spend my time on Level Design, and decorate it later. Don't worry, I plan on polishing up the level. (I am aware the recording isn't very good. It took me forever to finally one-shot it, and when that was the outcome, I just said "Screw it." and used it.)

Tell me how terrible or not terrible this looks so far.

--------------------
Expect little to nothing from me for now.

Player graphics are the only thing I do right, so come tell me to make one you want.

Go to my profile for more trash of mine.
It's not that terrible as you imply, although it's pretty short, but the fact that it's the very first level of the game excuses that. Some parts I feel didn't account for enough action, but that could be just my perfectionist side. The invisible coin blocks at the beginning aren't really threats, so you could move them wherever in order for you to screw yourself over as a casual player. And lastly, what are the grey question blocks for?
