However, I have complained about this before: That knife animation is a bit off, especially on the "slice line" effect not going away after the swing finishes. The knife is barely noticeable, and it almost looks like she's just swinging a whip of some sort instead of slicing something with a knife.

Loving the new stuff so far! Everything looks very clean and professional! It seems like when a person tries to insert custom graphics into SMW, everything doesn't line up together. Here, it looks like something legitimate. Keep it up!
Are those Koala's in the brickwork? If so I need to see some Koala themed enemies show up.
That said the use of purple in the Snow and Amusement Park themed levels are quite nice.
The snowy level using a purple palette makes it feel pretty unique seeing as snow and ice often just use a lot of blues.

I like the background in "Oil Spill" as it is befitting of your style... but id think thematic-wise on the background, id recommend conveying more of the "industrailization" theme to the bg.
To start, id like to suggest drawing some distant oil rigs dotting the seascape's horizon line. You could also have the ocean look a bit more polluted to be indicating of an actual oil spill as befitting of the level name (example - Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill picture)

This looks amazing (once again). I loved the original game and was waiting for something like this to come up. Kinda expected a K-16 remastered, but this looks fricking better. I can't wait to see more progress.
Love the new graphics for K-16, though something about the eyes bother me upon a first glance. I guess it's due to them being smaller than I was expecting, but it'll probably look better if I view them on a larger resolution. Pretty good!
