Tip: Take advantage of easy to install Patches in your hack. For example, the Classic Piranha Plant fix should be considered if you are planning to insert that sprite in your hack.

Welcome to Windoge Mario World, a ROM hack based on Windows Mario World! Windoge Mario World development started in 2017 and was recently picked up again [About January or February]. This is a solo ROM hack, with some custom music from here. This ROM hack also contains custom graphics. There is no download yet, but there will be a demo eventually! As a side note, Windoge is a real "meme" on the internet.

I have some older pictures, but all that was really changed since these were taken are graphics and minor level design. There are more than three levels, but these are the ones I'm going to show right now.

Windoge 1.0:

Windoge Memphis:

Windoge Chicago:

There are a few issues, like sprites disappearing in Windoge Chicago. Please leave feedback, as it is always nice to know how I can improve this project!
Welcome to an update about Windoge Mario World!

First off, here's a video showcasing Windoge Chicago!:

And here's some pictures of the Windoge Longhorn Build 3663 tileset!:

There are some tiles not shown and I may expand it in the future. For now, that's what I wanted to show!
but doge memes are unfunny and are as old as time itself
Looks alright, I'd suggest giving the levels some kind of background, and maybe make computer UI look a bit more detailed? It looks really simple and bland right now, unless that's the intention--in which case the sprites might want simpler shading, as well

your simplistic human mind cannot possibly comprehend the complexities of my thoughts
Yeah, I could make it look more lively with the graphics by adding more tiles to make it look more like a computer UI, but making the sprite palettes more simple would be a good and simple fix too. I'm not the best at drawing the backgrounds, either. However, the backgrounds are meant to look more like the OS it is representing, but I could add some twinkles or other little decorations into the mix. Thank you for the feedback!
