The organization in this thread is below acceptable parameters.

I would suggest something, but I can't think of anything.

We don't even know who has the .txt file >_<

Scorpion has the txt and for some reason, he doesn´t even know that we are passing the txt around (I PMed him and he was pretty confused about it). So everyone, who didn´t get a txt file, just make one by yourself with all the important information (custom blocks with Map16 info, custom music etc.) and send it to dots (that´s what I did).

The only custom thing I had was a palette. Do I need to send that?

I think it would all be better if we had to send a PM With this-

SMW Display Name
Level Name
Music Used in Level
Blocks use in level
ExGFX used in level
Custom Sprites
Anything else custom

And we all PM that individually to... Dots, right?

But maybe there is some unforseen problem in that. I'm not too sure.

I think the reason for the TXT was for dots to ahve all the custom stuff named in the same place as opposed to 20 different posts/PMs/etc. A lot more organized really.

As soon as I get this, it'll only take 2-4 days to complete. Its just frustrating waiting for everybody. ._.

Well...

The worst that could (and is very likely to) happen is that several users use the same map16 page for their blocks, which would end up in you using a whole day only to fix one level... And then another level has the same problem...

I'd say you'd need at least a week :/

Eh, maybe.

Almost forgot: I'm going on vacation to Ontario on Friday and won't be back until Monday. I have today and tomorrow left. I don't expect on being on anytime then (but I probably will), and won't have any hacking stuff with me, so if somehow the txt file(s) are finished before then, I won't be working on the collab.

Ok, this is taking WAY to long, so i am going to try to move this along.

efficent txt thing:



1.(do this now)independently make a txt file of all your blocks, sprites, ExGFX, map 16, etc. dont wait for the txt, do it now.


2.since scorpion doesnt seem to understand any of this at all, skip him for the time being, and just have G-virus send the main txt file to the next person on this list (in this case cousinoer5):




3.that person gets the main txt, copypastas the one they independantly made into his own section of the main txt.


4.send the txt to the person below you on the list. once you have done this, SAY SO IN THE THREAD! this way, we can keep track of who has it.


5.once all of this is done, the last person will give the txt to dots.

if EVERYONE DOES THIS NOW, the txt should be done by monday.

EDIT: I think the first thing we need is to get everyone on the same page. Is everyone in aggreememt with this plan, or does someone have a better idea?
