Well, I just started making OW like that and It is fun. I got alot of free time so it should be done soon, except I only start from SCRATCH. If people would not mind, I would LOVE to make the OW also then we can see whos is better. All I need are the levels' Attributes.

Well I should post a in detail progress right now anyway.

All Patches, Sprites, Blocks, Music, and Extra stuff is finished.

7 levels have been inserted (anoobis, cousiner5 (x2), daboys, dagx, darkfox, and darthriko), for a total of 22 areas.

Anoobis - Lvl #001 Sublvl - 26,27 - Fixed the spikes and put sideways munchers instead.
Cousiner5_1 - Lvl #002 Sublvl - N/A - Fixed some graphic issues and replaced munchers with name's death block.
Cousiner5_2 - Lvl #003 Sublvl - 28 - Removed 3-up moons.
Daboys - Lvl #004 Sublvl - 29,2A - Everything was perfect!
Dagx - Lvl #005 Sublvl - 2B,2C,2D,2E,2F,30 - Everything was perfect!
Darkfox - Lvl #006 Sublvl - 31 - Fixed ALOT of graphical issues and palettes.
Darthriko - Lvl #007 Sublvl - 32,33,34 - See *Cousiner5_1 + edited out the turn block bridge part of that one room (you can't get out of it?).

TODO:
The other 23 levels
Over world
title screen (layer 3)
intro (insert)
credit level
all the info boxes
all the level names
beta test (all the 'staff')
release
That's progress. Good to know there were no snags so far.
For the intro, I think there is a hex edit you can do to remove all movement and sounds from mario. then you could just turn level C7 into a GFX xcreen.

We have a level for the title screen, but I think I can still make a 16-color title screen.

If the movie doesn't go well (like Mario keeps dieing), we might have to do that. :/
I've got bad news. But some good news that goes along with it.

The ROM.

It died. DX

I don't know what caused it, or how to fix it, but I did hear something about addmusic and custom sprites not working together (someone clear me up on that).

But, since the ROM is still functional in Lunar Magic, I can just copy the Map16/levels over, instead of having to fix them again. And I don't have to learn/download everything else again. So that's not that bad.

If someone could clear me up on the addmusic/sprite problem, that'd be wonderful.

Well, I've heard stuff about this too. Addmusic and customs sprites CAN work together but I think you have to use Romi's addmusic so you can choose what free space the music is saved to.

Or you could use the SMAS music patch and then use custom sprites. As cool as some of the music was, I don't think it was a real big deal.

Um... dotsarecool? Do you realise that there is a new progress bar generator? Those things in your sig don't work anymore.... Anyway, I'm forgetting this, frequently, too.

Yes, I did say I would stop working on the OW, and that MGH could do it instead, but I didn't want my first overworld ever to be wasted, so I'm still working on it.

You can use whatever music you feel is fitting for the levels I made (I was thinking Big Blue for Initial M and Running Hell for !!!!!!!!!!!!! But I'm not picky, if you're using those tracks already then cool, if not, then use whatever.)

Also, could anyone who played my levels tell me what they thought of it? I'm interested to hear critiques on some of my later levels.

I loved your levels, they are extremely fun because I like hard levels :).

I have beaten them all except sea of troubles and anything else seceret in donut plains. I have beaten mushroomish kingdom though.
