I imagine that the hack will be posted here or in the hacks section when its done, so you probably dont need to ask for it.

EDIT: i just checked crys last post, and it appears he/she(?) is on a trip and wont be back until tomorrow (sigh). looks like we have to wait at least one more day before contest judging time thing.

The hack probably won't be posted in the hack section of the site. After all, these levels are unfair, we need save states for them....

Actually, I think it allows hacks that demand some states. Of course, SOME states are a lot less than what is required for Kaizo levels, much less for levels harder than Kaizo.

there actually is no rule against difficulty, but that doesnt change the fact that the community as a whole are completely bigotist against any difficulty whatsoever, and i garuntee they will try to find an excuse to keep it down.

It can't be posted in the hacks section because of the difficulty and only ProtonJon and a few other people are problably going to play this. We need to do something with the hack.

in the hack, we could correct everyone's problems in their level that would get the hack removed (Floating munchers, cutoff tiles, etc.). It might get accepted then.

...But that would remove most of the challenges, no?

Maybe there could be two versions: The original, and a watered-down, "problem-free" hack to post on the site.

I'm not judging. I sent a loooong PM to dots about it but basically i don't have the time or the organizational skills to do this. I'm really sorry.

I DID submit my level to dots tho. now to see if he judges it lol.

anyways, if they remove the hard hack for the reason that it's too hard, this community is officially retarded.

I think the game will get accepted here. I mean, this is a SMWC hack, made by many SMWC people. Why would is get reject so readily.



However fixing a few errors that are bound to happen never hurts.

Yuo mean people used floating munchers and cutoff tiles? I thought we would lose points if we did, so I didn't. I could have made a really good level if floating munchers were allowed.

You know dottedboy, you could just change the the gfx of the munchers to spikes, and then there would be no problem in having them floating/stacked

The levels are judged the exact way they were submitted, but I will fix them up for the collab. ie, turning floating munchers to kill blocks, etc. making it look good.

hebe e-mailed me his level (still to get) and crys hasn't got back yet.
