Tip: Take advantage of easy to install Patches in your hack. For example, the Classic Piranha Plant fix should be considered if you are planning to insert that sprite in your hack.
Some notes:
- E-man's entry wasn't late. It was marked late in one of the judge's initial comments, but I can't confirm it was submitted late and idol (who put together the zip with all entries) claims it wasn't. The penalty is removed. E-man is now fourth place.
- After some discussion between the judges, it was determined that the penalty for Tob and Luk's level not working in higan should not apply. The penalty is removed. Tob and Luks are now in fifth place.
- Gbreeze and Blue Leaf's level was not submitted late, it was updated late. Minor semantics error, penalty still applies.
- The link to FPzero's judging doesn't work because media.smwcentral.net is down. I've edited a backup link into the OP that should work while this gets fixed.
I expected everything and I'm still let up.
But yeah I can't believe I got 2nd again! Congrats to the top 10, katrina, and idol for besting me yet again There are a lot of great and unique entries this time around.
I would gladly take consecutive 2nd places over consecutive 5th places
Just a personal apology for all the post-results alterations we had to make. In the future, we'll work to make sure our results are accurate and thoroughly discussed ahead of posting. We'll also work to make sure the rules are properly clarified ahead of time to avoid unfortunate situations like this.
Congratulations to all the winners, and hopefully these mistakes didn't overshadow what was a really enjoyable contest.
Why did I get last place? I thought you said my entry was good this time, Noivern.
It was an improvement over your previous levels, but the quality of entries was extremely high, more than usual. In the end, somebody had to get last place. Feel free to play contest entries, this will help submitting even better levels next time.

Thanks, and I was afraid that would happen. I played like three entries during the contest, and in one of them, I couldn't jump so I kept on getting stuck at the beginning. Then, another one was a vanilla ice cream level w/enhanced music. Then, I felt like the last one was too short. I finished it in like five minutes or less.
I also watched Levelengine do a live stream of all of the levels, and he said mine wasn't bad, but it could have been better.
