Looks nice, though the letters don't look perfect... How about using SMW's letters? Also, I recommend turning the status bar colors black (the last colors in palette 1 and 2).

I hereby present a new Apocalypse Dawn level: Canopy Caution (Still looking for a good level name)

The level starts on the ground floor, while Mario fights koopas and rexes.

Gosh, these koopas do know their sniping!

Early in the level, you can choose between two paths. One of them leads to a reward...

Puzzle time! You have to get this P-Switch somewhere... but where?

...here.

Quick, into that pipe, Mario!

The second part of the level is above the treetop, on a line-guided platform and on logs.

Here we go!

"Oh crap! I'm doomed! Let's hope this block helps!"

"Well, this was unaccounted for!"

A 'log section' stands between the two line-guided sections, and another log section lies at the end.

I will attempt to make the level easier than it currently is. Feel free to comment.
In case no one has noticed I have returned and I have opened a thread for my hack.

(PM Me If you can help me)

EDIT:

The Goal Star!

The shading on Kirby could use work. Don't use pillow shading. (Shading on all edges of an object.)

Also, my background requires ExAnimation. :P

My first ExGFX on the overworld. Please don't be too harsh if it looks bad or something, on the OW you have much more limitations. I need to make a few touch-ups but atleast you get the main idea. Ripped from "Pokemon Leaf Green" for the GBA. ^-^

Are you sure, you should check the ExGFX list for anopther you made, custom.
I wonder what a HFD opcode would do in ASM...
Haha, thanks. ^-^ It can be that I submitted already one but I can't recall and I'm too lazy to check now. XP

Anyways, added some water:

I'll release this set as I'm done with it, maybe after my holiday because I still have to make some adjustements but if somebody has skills to re-do some things on the OW, I could upload it now.

Edit: WTF, I put it up now. >_>
Blargh, that overworld ExgFX is a huge style clash in my opinion...

It's still nicely ripped, but I don't like the style of that.
You know that the set is what matters, not the other stuff like Mario, etc... You can change the other graphics aswell to make them fit with this set. ;)

Anyways, get the set here. I hope you enjoy it. ^-^
How do I get it in the game?
I don't understand the readme.
Can anyone help?

That design is very nice, without the water, i couldn't tell it was pokemon graphics, but seriously, im using it ^^.
Wow, Amazing, Hyperbuu. Are the GFX from Ruby/Sapphire?
<TLMB> I use YY-CHR to edit DNA

Does that answer your question? Well those are some great Overworld graphics. It's hard to believe they are your first/second set. Keep it up!
My automatic level "Guide-Line Grove", for those who haven't seen the Auto-Play level contest.
(Heh, if SNN had been the only judge, I would have won :P)

I can see why. That was very good, all though I think that there could have been a note block or springboard in order to get some bonus stars. Why did you post it here though?

Mainly because of boredom... and I wanted to start uploading videos to Youtube again, so I thought I might as well post it here.

Ok, a YI tileset(surprisingly):

Recognise this? It's the room before Bowser's tileset. Hint: This tileset can be also used a BG, but you must make the palette darker.
Arrows, pipes and other objects aren't used, due to the palettes this tileset uses in YI.

Has blocks, curtains and other decorations.

Mario?Oh, he's probably behind those columns. They have layer priority.

Now where did you go? Behind the curtain. Curtains and the wall over it have layer priority and the wall is solid.

The ground has layer priority, too. You can see Mario, behind the outline hard. That means it has.

Check this post or my next one for link.

I like that rip :)

Does it only use one ExGFX file?
