Edit: Even though it hasn't, it still is a wonderful addition to the sprites' roster.

Putting my YI hack on hold.

If my request for a block to turn Mario into a stand alone Yoshi is too much and too complicated. Here is a alternative if it is easier. This way my request just doesn't get dropped and forgotten about entirely.

Alternate request: Make a patch that makes the button controls in Super Mario World on the SNES act like the button controls in SMW on the Game Boy Advanced.

Here is the button scheme:

- On the SNES controller the R button becomes the spin jump button (A)
- On the SNES controller the L button becomes the left and right scrolling in a level. If Mario is facing left and hits L it scrolls left. If Mario is facing right and hits L then it scrolls right.
- When you hit the L button it scrolls left/right automatically. You don't have to hold it and wait.
