1) Check-points work the same was as SMB1. If you progress enough in the level, and you die at some point, you'll restart from around mid-level. This varies from level to level of course, plus, I believe some levels have no midway-point.

I never figured it out so I would sometimes just savestate as a substitute.

Which password do you mean? The one in Water Castle #3 or in the "???" level? The former is easy to obtain by playing Water Castle #2, latter one requires you to find all the lewdie codes.

By "password" I was referring to the lewdie codes. I've only found three of them and I don't even remember where they were. I thought "code: C" was referring to cup size or something so I didn't even keep track of the rest until it was too late. Could you be kind enough to at least tell me the names of the levels containing those codes? At least the ones before Water Castle 3. From what I can tell, it's the only spot in the map I can't get to yet so it's not like naming the levels I've found before that would be spoiling for me.
I thought "???" was just a joke level as a reward. At least now I know there's an importance of it.

3) I could make a list of stuff used, but understand me, there's so much stuff inside this (both from other people and from me) that it'd be a pain for me to make one lol. Simply ask me the resources you want to know the source of, and I'll try providing it to you.

The music in the first cave level was really familiar and so was that song in the factory level. I think both were used in VLDC8.
The song in the first level was really good and I'm not sure if I've heard it before.

That hint is very important to get in the lewd world. You have to find the right spot to do that sequence, and obviously, it's not the level you find this message in.

Thanks.

Following, all the levels that contain the lewdie codes before Water Castle 3:
#1 - Empty Caves
#2 - The Legendary .brr

In case you want others too, then:
#3 Water Castle #3
#4 The SUCCen Ship
#5 Creepy Pasta
#6 Vilelaboratories #3

The music used in the cave level is this one.
Not sure which factory level you're referring to, since there are many, although I assume you wanted this?
Lastly, the song used in the first level is this one.
Obviously, the ones we host in the music section may be a tad different from the ones inside the hack, due to me editing and toggling some stuff for the global SFXs.
Finally i completed the hack with the 69 exits!, overall it was really fun
the secret lewd world was my favorite
, the only complain (other people already pointed this) were the controller map, personally i think its really messy but you get used to it after a few levels. And as for the secret password thingy
i struggle a lot with the password requiered for the water castle #3, but then i realized it was the "keyword" in water castle #2.
(i put this on spoiler just in case). I don't know what much to say other than good job Wakana #smw{:peace:}
Its jowke
Layout by LDA during C3.
I've playing this hack for a little couple of hours and so far it's good, but my complain are the controls, Specially the Pause button, I forgot one secret in one stage already passed and i got forced to beat the level again, This can be a little frustrating since the pause button is for "Healing", The grabbing is another minor thing, The secret in the first level is a bit bullshit, I tried to get him for 10 mins but nothing so big
Overall the hack is pretty good, the mechanics are a bit frustrating but still good
My Walktrough is Nearly Down only the Special World is not Finished Yet Great Hack So fari Hope i find out how to Unlock the Special World

Just to post an update on how I feel with the hack (I got to
Sleepy Ship
and beaten the
Sicari and K-16 bosses
), I have a few things to say as suggestions on how to make the hack slightly better;

- Exiting beaten stages. That's one of the things that the lack of a pause feature brings in is the fact that you can't exit stages, so either you have to beat the level again or enforce a death. Now I don't have a problem with not having a pause feature itself; I never use the pause button to begin with besides exiting stages. I think maybe a series of button combos (something like up, down, up up, down or something simple) would be the most fanciest way to go to exit a previously beaten stage.
- Losing your Waka-coins when you die and have already reached a midpoint. I suppose this is more of a "risk reward" thing more than anything, but I find it somewhat annoying that you can't just "keep" what you've collected already when you reach the midpoint. This was especially a problem when it came to the previously mentioned boss I said I beaten. Now I'm not sure how hard it would be to implement a system where it saves at the midpoint but gets erased from memory as soon as you beat the stage (ala NSMBDS), but it would be pretty handy to have especially since you already worked a decent amount just to have the coins to begin with.
- Midpoints before bosses would be handy, too. Maybe not the biggest deal breaker, but definitely something to consider.
- For goodness sake, that slide move drives me a little mad. It's so sensitive that the slightest movement can trigger it. Personally if it were more like Kirby's slide move, it would be more tolerable (having to press down, then pressing X or Y to have a sort of slide-kick thing). Still haven't died from it, but eventually it's going to screw me over quite a bit.

That being said, the hack is polished and I can get behind quite a lot of things (after all, I enjoy the Devious Four Chronicles and other story-driven hacks). You'll see what I'm talking about when I release more episodes (I'm up to Episode 4 pre-recorded)

I took the message at the end of Water Castle 2 at face value. Once I recognized that the text matched the text used at the input room of Water Castle 3, I understood what to do. There was no feedback when hitting the letters like blocks so I wasn't sure if I was entering it correctly at first.

Sillier Bridge was a really fun level. Where is its remix from? It's really catchy.

How do I get past the green blocks with the images of Wakana on them? I found them in a secret room of
SUCCen Ship
and nothing I've tried has gotten me through them.

you need to collect all of the wakacoins in the level

Now I have 68 exits. I've found all the secret content I can think of, with two exceptions. I can definitely say I've had a good time with this hack overall. A couple more thoughts while this hack is still fresh in my mind:

These blocks in
Gambly Night
look like they should be grabbable, but they aren't: https://i.imgur.com/W3E4uIT.png (you wouldn't believe how much this bothered me)
The staircase here could really stand to be more visible: https://i.imgur.com/xIfFyyU.png
I hated the
quiz minigame
. I know that I'm not at all in the audience for it but it felt really bad needing to savestate through it.
I loved the
cement block
area. It was an unexpected joke given the level and world but that made it refreshing. I also liked
the boss
.
The
"impossible boss"
was hidden in a fun location. I thought it was surprisingly easy though.
I liked the "nightmare" sequence. I expected the typical "happy grassland gets corrupted as you play it" kind of thing and was pleasantly surprised that I got booted back to a warped title screen, dark intro, and even a redesigned world map. You went much further than I would have expected someone to go with this concept.

What exactly do I do in the "DIE HERE" level? Getting to the end just sends me back to the start, and going to where the hidden pipe was just brings me to an unopenable door. I tried to be clever and die because the level told me so, which is actually possible if you spin jump underneath these blocks: https://i.imgur.com/mWp6Pu8.png

The SMWC lounge area is neat. The sound test lets me listen to the awesome music of this hack whenever I want, which is quite a plus. I don't know who any of the characters are but I still got a couple of laughs. I tried playing every single song in the jukebox and nothing seemed to happen, despite what that one turtle hints at. Messing with the sound test also exposes how dissonant the volume levels of some tracks can be. Check it out.

Even with some disagreeable writing (it's just not my type, and it's not your fault), a learning curve with the new controls, and some really weird difficulty spikes, I had a great time with this hack. Music was consistently great, the environments were gorgeous and pretty varied. There are many gimmick levels and I'd say that a majority of them work well. The fun new character mechanics (minus the slide and maybe the pound) really do help this feel a bit more unique since levels are designed around them and they complement the character's design. There are secrets everywhere and many of them are quite cleverly hidden. Finding secrets leads to an insane amount of hidden content and filling out the beautiful world map was immensely satisfying.
Again, this is probably the most interesting hack I've played so far this year. I'm currently playing Sicari Remastered and I think it's also quite impressive, though artistically it doesn't excite me nearly as much. I'm glad that I was able to copy my save file from the demo with seemingly no issues: I may have had a blast playing through the demo but I was not willing to redo so many levels just to catch up to where I was.

oh and uh
that sure was a strange secret ending alright

Didn't really thought about that, I overlooked this small detail, my bad lol.

In the first betas of the game, that exit was supposed to be something you'd access in late game. Since many of my testers complained that levels with secrets weren't marked on the map, I ended up signing every secret with stars in the overworld level name. Perhaps I should've made a better control than
getting all the 4 WakaCoins of the level
.

We have a patch for saving collected dragon coins. There's only one issue:

I reached a point where adding extra patches in my hack makes random songs explode. This already happened with the credits song (and afaik a couple others too), so unless I port everything to a new rom, I won't be able to add more stuff.

Worth mentioning that you can enter pipes even while sliding. I've seen your first ep. of the let's play: you don't need to stop and crouch to see if a pipe is enterable. But again, I can understand why you're having difficulties with this. Eventually you'll get used to it.

This one. I'm also glad you like that level. Its gimmick is very questionable due to the cutoffs, but I'm happy it ended up being fun.

The level is a distorted version of the original one. You've seen that going for the normal exit triggers nothing. You know that this level also has a secret exit, isn't it? ;)
Obviously, there's a little twist to open the door, but with enough exploration of that level, you should be able to get something "unusual" which you can grab and use for the door to unlock.

Thank you everyone for every post of feedback and all the kind words. I hope you had a great time with it; I sure did while building it!
