A quick few questions

As a noob when it comes to modding, (not coding, I am good at JavaScript) is there any way to make mods on Chromebook? Any emulators that are mod-compatible, and any way to run the tools without wine? If possible can you reply quickly? (For those posting, Chromebook is a little different than Linux software, but should be compatible.) And finally, any links for the smallest required file for wine? (if absolutely necessary)

NOTE: I don't intend to have developer mode on, but my Chromebook is play store compatible.
Or, better asked, what is the best wine file for Linux or Chromebook, and what is the best emulator for mods for afromentioned CPU.
Thanks!
...no help??? "sigh" i guess i will give up.#tb{:(}#tb{D:}
I think if you don't have Windows your best bet is to use a Virtualbox with a Windows ISO, and then create a shared folder. There are a lot of programs needed and some of them work with wine but others don't. About the mod compatible emulators, any snes emulator should work (I recommend Snes9x).
may i have a usable link for a chromebook-compatible wine file, a chromebook-compatible virtual box and windows iso? if so, thanks in advanced! (wine decided to... intergrate with crossover so it is uninstalled as of right now...)#tb{''}
No one is helping me either, I've bumped & submitted a few threads here and there and no one is replying.

Don't post in other people's help threads if you don't have anything to add to the actual topic, please. If no one's replying, it's either because A) nobody knows how to fix the issue, or B) no one knows how to recreate the issue due to a lack of information provided. In this case, it's likely A since chromebooks are a pretty rare choice for this community.

Anyway, I personally do not have a chromebook, but a quick google led me to this page and this page which seem to describe what you need. Alternatively to VirtualBox, this page suggests a way to install Wine on a chromebook, which might be easier (although Wine for Android is still in beta, so it may not work perfectly).
In general, I'd recommend trying Google first for specific computer-related questions, because you'll get information much faster than waiting for a response here.

odds are I will probably save my money for a cheapy win 7+ laptop instead of using my school's chromebook. also, wine... intergrated with my chromebook and cannot be removed. I can tell as crossover reads and runs wine as if it is on my computer.#tb{''} #tb{''}
