Santa's break ended just a few hours ago, and he was in a mad rush to get out. Something about falling ash and missing his flight? He left behind a rather hastily-written note.

Sorry for leaving on such short notice. Tallying the results took far longer than I expected, and the missus would kill me if I missed my flight. You all have done such a wonderful job taking my place this year for this early Christmas, you can replace me every year! Ho Ho Ho! You can keep the decorations. They won't go through security.

Notes on results:
Anything that only gets one vote is not awarded a trophy, even for first place. Ties of more than three people are not awarded trophies, except for first place. Third place is not awarded trophies if there are at least five total first and second place winners. Votes in the "Best Feedback" and "Nice" categories for people who didn't participate in C3 were ignored.

Big ups to Maarfy, who had been hiding in the woodworks for years only to come out swinging with one of the most impressive things in years. You earned it, you cryptid.

I'm also happy to get first place in a thing! Especially for a thread that came about on a spur of the moment - Extra Mario World deserved a much higher place because it looks incredible, but that's neither here nor there.
What exactly is the difference between "Best Teaser" and "Most Promising hack in progress?" It seems like there would be a lot of overlap between the two.

My first C3 trophy since like...2009 I think? I know it wasn't a very large category but I'm still proud that people saw fit to award our team for our work on Awful Emblem. I'm making sure Tyty gets a trophy for it too since I'm just the guy who posted the thread where without him we'd have no new characters to write the story about!

I honestly didn't expect Asar v1.60 to actually win a trophy, let alone a gold trophy, but glad to see that people apparently liked it. Also claiming a trophy since I did roughly half the work, yo. 😐

Congrats to all the other winners. This was a surprisingly fun C3. Saw way more stuff I was interested in than I had anticipated.
