How exactly would I convert Famitracker instrument files into a .brr samples?

I took the 9 Hummer Team samples from the .ftm of a song called Hummer Takes Over and saved them as ".fti" Famitracker instrument files. Now what do I do? Do I need to convert them into a .wav sample first and then turn it into a .brr sample? Or is there another way?

Edit: Left "a" in the title by accident, I know.

That is the most intuitive way to go about it. Virtually every BRR conversion software requires the file to be a 16-bit .wav

How would I convert the Famitracker instruments into .wav files in the first place?

Unless someone on the forum knows you'd have to find out yourself. If it's a non-looping sample you can externally record it through software like audacity. You could do the same with looping but it's less than ideal to work with.

Now is the sample a DWAV (whatever the NES WAV format is) or one of the square/triangle/hardware sounds? If it is a hardware sound you'll likely have to reproduce it manually on the SNES using brrs. The C700 VST by default gives you a square wave, 25%, 50%, and 75% sine square wave, the basic necessities. You can also search for them online.
