Quick question. I've got a song in Impulse Tracker format and it uses the "sample offset" command a fair amount.
Sample Offset: Starts playing the sample at the position xx * 256 (instead of position 0).

Does addmusick support anything like this or is there a method I could use to emulate this effect without having separate samples for each offset?



I can't remember specifically but I don't believe there is support for that. Emulating sample offset would require changing the sequence data. Example would be playing a note early with zero volume and increasing it to the desired volume later which is incredibly inaccurate unless the sample is long.
