Hello guys, finally after a year working on this project the game is finished with all it's 115 exits.
So now begins the final beta testing period, I already started the testings myself and did a whole playthorugh on the game fixing some issues.
But now I'd like to have the help of you guys!
The ones who help me you be mentioned in the credits section.
Also, after this beta testing this game probably will have a in-game credit scroll added and will be fully translated to brazilian portuguese too.

I also ask that you avoid doing LP or gameplays of this hack on your Youtube channels yet, while this is in beta testing.

I'm still playtesting this game, but for now I made some aestestic changes to make some levels prettier and more alive.
Plus some issues was fixed like hoopsters with wrong palete in W6-5.

On the latest beta of this hack, I found some spelling mistakes
in World 1.

Also in Chuckin Rock Hills I can't enter this pipe!

Thanks I'll do a grammar check in the entire hack, I think that I probably made a lot of grammar mistakes in the english version of the hack.

Oh by the way I already started working in the translation for thr brazilian portuguese language too.
Do you think this Hack will be Still a 2018 Hack or a 2019 Hack :D

another bug in the 12/11/2018 beta: beating Birdo in world 2 castle (Netclimb Tower) level does not clear the stage.

Birdo gets defeated but does not go to "course clear" and I am stuck & have to wait until time runs out. so I can't advance to any levels
Hello, thanks Erpster, I removed a level ender sprite that was suposed to be there while testing and forgot to put it back.
Here's the fixed version.

In this version I also put a in-game credit screen after the final boss and rearranged the last section of the secret final level.

So, since the testing is going fast I think that maybe I can release this during Christmas, but maybe it could be delayed to 2019 if I decided to change something big in the hack.
I'm thinking on add a second phase to the final boss, cause the battle right now is a bit short and simple.

I found another problem in the 12-11-2018 beta just before you released the 12-15-2018 beta and that beating the World 7 boss in Magician's Fort level shows this:



that needs to be edited to indicate the next world which is the space world and should mention about Tatanga.

also, the Lost Space Station level in world 8 seemed to have 4 star coins instead of 5 when I played the Dec. 11 beta.
edit 12/15: the newly released Dec. 15 beta also has 4 star coins with that level.

though it's better to release the game after New Year's 2019 rather than the Christmas 2018 holidays in case me & others find some other problems not reported before year 2018 ends. the recent betas are greatly improved since the early betas released this past summer.

Oh thanks, I already encountered this too while I was translating the game to portuguese and fixed it, I had forgot to change it in that beta.
I think its already fixed in the new version.

Ok, here's another update fixing the pointed issues.
Also some levels had some level design tweaks, the most noticeable ones are the secret final level and world 4-castle.
Also I changed the name of the game to Luigi's Journey, because this new name fits better in protuguese(my native language).

Sorry again for the double post!
I finished the translation to portuguese and fixed everything I could in the game, also I added the credits and a second phase to the final boss.
With everything finished, I plan on releasing the game 01-01-2019.
So the deadline for the tests will be 12-30-2018 in case you find something that still should be fixed, thanks for the help everyone!

EDIT:I forgot here the latest update version.

Hello. I found two typing errors in readme and credits.txt
First, in this part..
"Special Thanks:
-People who suported me, ..."
I think you have to change 'suported' into 'supported'.
Second one is in DDA system.

I'll fix that!

Now for updates of the actual hack: I'll delay it again and release it during C3.
This is because I decided to insert the retry patch to make use of its multiple midway points in the hack, but unfortunaly it isn't compatible with the safe fall patch i was using in this hack.

With that this hack won't have the rescue from falling in pits from the first game but will have midway points in its longer levels#tb{:D}

Also i noticed i missed one exit during the previous tests(spiky spike lake) so the hack actually have 116 exits instead of 115.

Here's the new updated version, so with this you still can point issues until 01/03/2019 if you find any#tb{^V^}

If you plan to test the hack with this patch make sure to delete the previous srm file cause it will be buggy for some reason with this new patch.
Hey Bandicoot!This hack is looking incredible, I have a suggestion to make it more varied, how about you insert the Lx5 custom power-ups patch?

I'm much lazy and I like Castlevania Symphony of the Night...
It would be a cool idea but one that cost of trouble to implement in the game, also I will need some new luigi graphics for that.
But I plan to use that in my future hacks.
