this is made just for fun. this overworld will never show up in a hack (unless s1 wants to use it then just pm me but you can make something better in an hour, paths are actually working but no events)

i had several problems while making this, one of the biggest was the bowser statue waterfall, getting it to be placed correct was a pain for me.

here are 2 of the problems i had with the statue
i finally ran out of ideas what else to add (i considered a small island at the leftmost part of the screen)

so i thought might aswell ask for some thoughts and feedback.
also if you have any ideas to make it more appealing to the eye (especially deco wise) feel free to write it down <3
I always come back - W. Afton

pm me if you need someone to test your hack (easy - kaizo light), i'd love to help out and break it <3
please let me know some infos about your hack (exit amount, difficulty you aimed for, any special patches used like walljumping etc)

Hey, that's not bad! For your first OW I'll give you an 8 out of 10

I'm not an expert in OWs, but I'll try to point out a few things:

- Try distributing the piranha plant sprites to all islands (if they are the focus of one level, place them around it)

- If possible, try making the islands with more smooth curves (especially the last one, where one side is curved, and the other one is almost a square)

- There's too much empty space in the sea, if you make the islands larger there will be more room for decoration

- Change the brown palette to a lighter color, so it blends better

- That little white hill is the only one of it's kind! Try placing some more around the islands to make the sea less empty

- Water levels don't usually use tiles around them, but still, that would look good in a deep ocean styled level

- The last island's waterfall is almost coming out of nowhere, try making a river leading to it

- I really like the Bowser statue waterfall, maybe you could make a patch leading to it into a supmap

- I never thought about using white small rocks in the sea, they make a nice effect! I'll start using those

That's all! The best way to improve is trying! #smrpg{y}

P.S: Sorry for any gramatical errors i'm not from US and my PC keeps trying to "correct" what I write
Sorry, but I'll have to close this thread as this doesn't really belong in this forum nor anywhere else but the Screenshots & Videos thread. I kindly ask you to post your future overworld screenshots there, or make a hack thread in the Works in Progress forum if you start making a hack and want to showcase its overworld.

Edit: however, you can post overworlds in this forum if your intent is to gather feedback on the graphics, not the design.
