Name: Running Hammer Bros.
Type: Sprite
Tool: Romi's SpriteTool v1.41 (though it should be compatible with PIXI for SMWC submission)
Origin Game: SMB1 (after more than 100 secs), SMB2J (Natively at World 7 and 8)
Description - Hammer Bros from SMB1 and SMB2J that run straight toward the player and jump when theres a solid block in its path. Extra Bit set should be running regardless of changed direction based on player's position (basically chasing you down) whereas default (extra bit not set) should only be running based on when it comes into the player on-screen and not run (acts like a regular Hammer Bro.) when it changes direction on player's position. Typically they move left since Mario's levels generally are designed for Mario to go rightward to the goal.

On Pixel Art Requests: I generally do not accept free work unless I either have the time, if I see your project worth my time to contribute towards, and that is usually me doing the approaching to you on that second part. I do not accept speculative work as I do have various art I made on-hand with me. I am more receptive to paid work and equivalent exchange of resources (trades) in which case, you can DM me wherever I have an active presence on for the details and we can work something out. If not, then don't DM unless absolutely necessary.



I don't have any request, just wanted to say it's nice to see this finally released and having interest from the community. I have betatested this tool several times before and I can say your work is really dedicated. Good job!

One quick question first; what sprite tool is it made for? Cause I'm using Lunar Magic 3.0, and I don't think GIEPY is compatible with it yet. If it can be for PIXI as well, that'd be useful.

And for that other stuff:

SP3, since I suspect people want to use this alongside Boos and ghost enemies, and palette C, since that shouldn't clash with Boos and ghost enemies.

Giepy for now.

Even though GIEPY is good, it would be nice to extract .cfg files from Dysen, since I tried it and there was no .cfg file.

Working on my hack.
I have yet to use this tool, my computer is to old. But I have been silently watching it and I'm quite impressed.
I have been testing your Dyzen beta builds for a while and I can say that I'm glad that it's getting so complete and having many different sprite creating options. Keep up with the good job man!

Looking forward for the SNES Office project as well. Hope the space/channels we gave it to you on VileLAB is helping you during the development/testing phrase! ^^

Well i have a sprite request, i hope its simple to do.
Name: dandelion ripe
Origin game: Kirby's Dreamland 3 (you can see it in the first lvl)
Description: Its kinda hard to explain so here's a gif of the actual sprite ingame:

no need to worry about the sprite animation, i'll do the animation via exanimation
i dont know if its possible to store custom sprites gfx in GFX00 so pm me if thats not possible

Really interesting that it looks rather resilient...though I personally see this one having niche uses for whomever needs it.

(Also side thing - I edited my post for the proper request formatting as in OP since I forgot to put in origin game, forgive me for not doing that sooner.)

Origin Game: Yoshi’s island SMW2

Description: A fat winged Goonie that bounces high up and lands to the ground just like the green papakoopa, but only slower. These big fat birds can be ride on top like the Mega Mole.

I'd like to see some of the fancy platform sprites from the New Super Mario Bros. series implemented in SMW, like the seesaw, drawbridge platforms, circular land formations, or large rotating blocks.

When Mario is hit by the Dino charging, he will be hurt and threw (like this), after that or if Dino doesn't sees Mario for a while, it will return to walk.
Dino just can be killed with a star.

Your sprites are looking pretty great. I really like the small details of the cannon interaction, they make it more reliable to the original version. Good job anoni!
