Oh man, you guys really love that floating islands tileset (which I made specifically for the "Ice Age", believe it or not), huh? Well, with C3 coming to a close, I may as well go out with a bang and show a few more stuff before it ends. And at the end, I'll give all of you exactly what you seek.

First things first, I made a few gradients for the prehistoric era in one of my hacks. I don't have a home for the middle gradient, but I do for the other two:

This gradient will be used in what I call the "badlands" setting, full of geysers, lava craters, and lava and maybe water pools as well. I'm reusing the layer 3 from a previous tileset, but I will make a different Layer 2 sometime in the future. And, excuse that poorly-drawn tree: It was part of an experiment that didn't turn out as well as I hoped in terms of shape...

If you couldn't tell by that platform and the grey-colored square pit below, this is a prehistoric tar pit. I thought that maybe the gradient would fit there, so that it looks a bit bleak, while still looking a bit natural for a sky in this time era.

Finally, the moment you've been waiting for: I listened to Vitor Vilela's suggestion above and made the auroras ExAnimated. Now now they're even better than ever! Sadly I can't really show both the gradient and the animation at the same time unless it's in-game...

Thanks for viewing my graphics and my hacks' progress, everybody! See you all next time! And, be sure to check out my hack thread for more updates and details from time to time. Once in a blue moon, I might have something worthy to show there. #smrpg{y}

Are those volcanos in the badlands going to spit fire?

The gradients look fine and the sky in the night looks even better with that animation.
Surely I don't need to tell you that your graphics are top-class - I'm still going to anyway, but I hope you're already proud of 'em. What I really came by to compliment, however, are your palettes; I've already spent two/three hours trying to set up one mediocre palette for a sprite, so I can't begin to fathom the years of practice, experimentation and tweaking that went into all of these. Much respect to you, and best wishes for your project!
Your prehistoric, sky, and desert tilesets are so detailed that I dare say they clash with the vanilla sprites and your question block graphics.

I especially like the desert sands. The sand graphics give an illusion of depth that looks really nice.
