well, it's a sky tower

Added some decoration and a background, also a few enemies for now.

I think the level could feel better with a BG of clouds if it's a sky tower. Now it doesn't feel like a sky tower anymore with your last bg change, in my opinion.
I'm really curious to know how you made the arrows. I'm assuming you used the Bowser Valley lava animation, but how did you make the triangle?

I made the palette animation myself and the triangles are from the canvases you see in bowser's castle

My Hack Thread

I don't wanna get in the way of your designing method but placing such tight corridors and nonsensical zigzaggy lines first and throwing in enemies later seems like a recipe for disaster. I have no idea what you're doing. Is this just an aesthetic proof of concept/brainstorming?
