-The Map16 On page 0x7

and the level used for Screenshots

it was a little difficult to do the rip but I got it in an hour and a few minutes for the map16

Screenshots:

Major Reason(s):
  • Irrelevant and duplicate tiles
  • As far as I can tell, these tiles are either duplicates that should be eliminated, or are not used at all in the map16 supplied (not including the negative space).
  • Lack of Map16 screenshot
  • Map16 (in-editor)
  • Compared to what the exgfx files have, the map16 for some of the palm trees do not look like they have been put together correctly. There are also some map16 tiles that are identical (same tiles, same action, same priority), and should be removed. They could also be assembled a little tighter so that there isn't so much default tiles between most things (perhaps remove the priority tiles outright, and let the player decide if they need to use it).

Minor Reason(s):
  • Inaccurate
  • Not really a removal reason by itself, but compared to a rip that I found online, it looks like there are some corrections on your rip that could be made. Since there is still plenty of space in your exgfx, you could even add a few more things!
  • Cutoff
  • This would be on the person using this to avoid cutoff, but you could include extra land tiles that fill in the negative space with some ground color.
I want to add that these screenshots are way too big. General Submission Guideline #6 states: "Keep screenshots at their native window size to keep things looking consistent with other submissions. However, you can resize in-game screenshots up to 2 times their native size provided you know how to not make them blurry in the process."
